Anyone with any S5 Cabriolet experience. I'm drooling over that car right now.

Rented a white Q7 in Phoenix a month ago. Fantastic vehicle. The A/C had trouble keeping up with the 120 degree temperature, but so did every other car. Cooled seats would have been nice and IMO mandatory for any vehicle with a black interior in Phoenix.

My only real complaint is that the rails for the front seats extend too far forward and people with larger feet (me) may bump against them and possibly rip off the little piece of plastic trim. They are not mounted flush with the floor.

Also the sat/nav screen pops up from the dash on the model I had, so don't put anything on the dash during start up.

There is a little duplicate nav screen by the speedometer that was really nice.

The interior was top shelf IMO. I took a photo because no one believed I found it on the National car rental lot. The touch pad in the photo was really nice for quickly inputting addresses on the nav and clicking through commands.

It had plenty of power and drove very well. The ride and handling were incredible. I did not use the third row seat. Not sure if it would be ideal for a family larger than 5.

Drove it up to Sedona and got it up to 95mph. I think it was the 3.0L model. It went like stink.

I rented an Acadia the week before, which was also very nice. The Audi probably costs $25,000 more. It was a much nicer vehicle, but I am not sure if it was $25,000 nicer.

Acura is like Buick, Volvo, and Lincoln in the sense that they are a step above a regular Chevy or Honda, but not really on par with dedicated luxury brands like Mercedes, Audi, Cadillac, BMW, Lexus, etc. The MDX is their best product and I think is worth a look.

Actually Volvo has also really stepped things up recently too. The XC90 is worth a look if the Q7 is also being considered.

I test drove a decked out 2017 Q7. The interior is soooooo nice. But there is just no way im dropping 70k on an Audi SUV. Rather get a Range.

For whatever reason, Audi doesn't have the same brand equity that Mercedes or Range Rover has in the US....at least among middle aged people.

It's interesting to see sales numbers in Europe vs the US. Not sure it equates to quality, but in the luxury market it seems like it would.

I'm nervous about the Volvo we're getting, but I think my wife will love it...even if it's a PITA to own. The interior is amazing and the exterior styling is sharp AF.

Timing belt will cost you 2-4k. Do it at 85k miles.

Very apt description.

I just priced out the MDX Advance w/ Entertainment package (the most expensive). $62,000.

to me, infiniti, acura and volvo are 'tweeners.

However, Volvo's new xc90 and xc60 are better than most of their luxury brand counterparts.

to the OP, the new Q7 has been widely lauded (along with the xc90) as the best luxury SUV.

All of the new Geely Volvos on the SPA architectures are nice (as Audi, BMW, Mercedes...as far as utes go). The V90 Cross Country is beautiful if you're into wagons.

The Q7 is a great driving, good looking vehicle with one serious flaw.

It is almost impossible for anyone larger than a 10 year old to access the third row seating.

There is no center aisle option and you must try to squeeze through a tiny aperture alongside the second row of seats!

S5 Cabriolet

Just bought a used S4. 2013 facelift model prestige trim. Practically stole it for what I paid for it.

Same motor as that year's S5. It's ungodly fast. I would have got an S5 but I needed 4 doors. And the interior is fine as shite, although it's my first car ive bought since I got a "real job"

A loaded RR sport is a easy 80k and a decent big boy is 100+. Not the same class IMO
