re: Bushes to hide fence - lsulaker
Good advice! Right now, redtip photinia and indian hawthorne seem to be in the lead. I like the way indian hawthorne looks a little bit better (im just not a fan of red in plants unless it is roses). Does indian hawthorne have any drawbacks?...

Bushes to hide fence - lsulaker
I need a recommendation on a bush to hide a fence. The bushes need to grow fast and have leaves close to the bottom to hide the ground. It would also be nice if it bloomed in the spring or summer....

re: Need 2 loads of dirt and 2 French Drains installed - lsulaker
I really have no idea. Now that I think of it, a load could be way too much. I basically need the back of a truck full for the front yard and another one for the back yard. Not the back of a dumpster trunk, just a normal pickup truck....

Need 2 loads of dirt and 2 French Drains installed - lsulaker
Everyone here helped me alot to get a pine tree cut in my yard. You referred me to Dave at Bayou Tree Service and it worked great. I now need a load of dirt in the front and backyard and a French drain also in the front and backyard. You guys recommend anyone? I live in Baton Rouge and don't wa...

In Home Childcare - lsulaker
My wife and I are having a son in September and looking for an individual that can watch him starting in December. We had several options in Denham Springs for our first son, but now that we live in Baton Rouge it is much harder to find someone. She has looked on Care.com, Facebook, and Craigslist...

re: Best 65' 4k TV - lsulaker
LG 65EF9500. I have this TV and it is amazing. Cleveland Plasma is having really good deals on them right now- call them for it. The blacks are unparalleled. I watched Gravity recently and it looked amazing. It truly looks better than movie theater screens (excluding IMAX of course) I can ...

re: Lexus RX 350 - who here has one? (slight brag) - lsulaker
My wife has the Q5 and I rarely drive it. I like taking my old Acura everywhere (which she hates). However, we took it from Baton Rouge to Mandeville this weekend and I forgot how fun it is to drive. We just have the 8 speed 2.0T. I never had to rev it over 3500 rpm and was hovering between 85-92 ...

re: Tree removal - lsulaker
Dave is coming out today. I really like that speed. It usually shows that someone is interested in your business and on top of things. I also contacted Biggz tree service because my friend recommended them. I normally get more than 2 bids, but I would like to stick to reputable companies beca...

re: Time for a trade in? - lsulaker
Fix it. Do the math on a $400 car note. In 6 months, that $2500 of repairs would be nearly paid for but you would be stuck with a car note for at least another 3 years. You should be asking how does a Corolla with such low miles need so many repairs? Does it need a new engine or something? I...
