Cost of pouring concrete for patio - lsulaker
I am interested in getting concrete poured to make a patio larger. It would be 12 feet by 50 feet, or 600 square feet, in Baton Rouge. Do you guys have an idea of how much that would cost? Do you recommend a company? ...

New Construction from Sunrise Homes - lsulaker
My wife and I are seriously considering putting an offer on a home built by Sunrise Homes. It is a very nice house with all of the amenities that we need. I am not very familiar with them, but am curious about the quality of their work. Everything that I saw seemed good and they bragged about thei...

re: Do our smartphones "listen" to us even when we're not on them? - lsulaker
I am almost positive our phones are always listening. I watched Mud about 6 months ago and wondered where it was filmed. I typed in Google "Where was" and it auto- filled "Mud filmed?" That was a weird coincidence. I use a 2014 Moto X and typed it in Google. Last weekend, we are watching Boyho...

re: The Carriage House at Myrtles Plantation - lsulaker
We went to the bluffs last year and the food was pretty good. We went to carriage house this sunday after my sons baptism and it was very good. I tried the: shrimp and corn soup, sweet potato fries, fried fish, fried shrimp and sauteed catfish with crab meat. It was all good. ...

re: Anyone have experience with the Audi Q5? - lsulaker
No sir, but I love cars. A major factor in buying a car is will it look good 10 years from now. To accomplish that, a car needs modern styling without being too edgy. I think the Q5 achieves that, especially my wife's with the factory 19s and tinted windows all around. ...

re: Anyone have experience with the Audi Q5? - lsulaker
My wife loves hers. We purchased a CPO. We have the 2.0T with 8 speed transmission. It handles well, has plenty of space, and will age well. That engine and transmission are pretty flawless. Repairs will be pricey, but thankfully we havent had any in 2 years and almost 20k miles. I still am scared t...

re: What is the go to website for posting resumes for the 28-40 y/o crowd? - lsulaker
TD really needs a classified board and a jobs board. I think it would work out very well for Chicken. I know I would use it to hire someone from LSU that graduated in business. ...

re: Do you drive fast or slow? - lsulaker
Around town I dont drive fast at all. There are too many slow drivers, red lights and stop signs for driving fast to significantly reduce my travel time. I often coast to red lights and accelerate slowly aggrevating other drivers. On the interstate, I drive completely different. I have no problem...
