re: Any idea on price drop for LG OLED 4K tv's around christmas? - lsulaker
Please don't post unless you know what you are talking about. The 65 inch EF series came down to $2500 online two months ago at the end of the cycle. It had been out one year. I could easily see 2k for the B series next spring. ...

re: Any idea on price drop for LG OLED 4K tv's around christmas? - lsulaker
Yes, they will come down especially the B series. I have the 65ef9500 from last year and love it. This year's are better and the B series is already cheaper. They are worth the price now but I think it will go down. The EF came down a good bit after being out a while. ...

re: Buying or Selling a gutted home $$$ question - lsulaker
I know that things are tough right now and it is easier to walk away, but unless you are OT rich and dont need the house at all, you shouldnt make a quick decision. Maybe the house is paid off and $40k in your pocket is better than the hassle, but you really should just take everything one step at a...

Yep, I have the full intention of replacing them I just am curious as to how much I should use them before they are replaced. Can they ruin new computers or old printers that are still plugged into them and working?...

re: Electrical outlets after flooding - lsulaker
Something tells me that my breakers are screwed. We only owned this building for 8 years but it is nearly 40 years old. What does it mean if my breakers are screwed? I obviously know nothing about electrical work. We are planning on getting the whole building gutted, I just need it to halfway fu...

Electrical outlets after flooding - lsulaker
My office is off of Florida Blvd and received 18 inches of water. In regards to height, the water went in between the first and second electrical outlets. Both outlets are still working fine. My monitor is plugged into a surge protector that is plugged into the bottom outlet (which was flooded) an...

re: The Great Flood of 2016: Fill Out Disaster Forms NOW. Link Inside! - lsulaker
Does anyone know if Brian Harris Chevrolet on Florida is flooded? My office is right by there. I tried to go, but Florida is closed at North Little John. Thanks everyone for contributing to this thread....

re: The Great Flood of 2016: Fill Out Disaster Forms NOW. Link Inside! - lsulaker
I agree on the energy left in this thing. The high pressure over Georgia is really weakening the east side, helping Baton Rouge. Unless the storm moves directly north east back over BR, I dont see another 10+ inches. ...

Takeout in Mid City - lsulaker
My father in law is coming tonight and we are too lazy to cook (we have a one and a half year old and my wife is 7 months pregnant). We were trying to think of someplace to get good takeout. We have eaten at LaCarettas a couple of times with him so I was hoping for something different. He doesnt ...

re: Bushes to hide fence - lsulaker
Good advice! Right now, redtip photinia and indian hawthorne seem to be in the lead. I like the way indian hawthorne looks a little bit better (im just not a fan of red in plants unless it is roses). Does indian hawthorne have any drawbacks?...

Bushes to hide fence - lsulaker
I need a recommendation on a bush to hide a fence. The bushes need to grow fast and have leaves close to the bottom to hide the ground. It would also be nice if it bloomed in the spring or summer....

re: Need 2 loads of dirt and 2 French Drains installed - lsulaker
I really have no idea. Now that I think of it, a load could be way too much. I basically need the back of a truck full for the front yard and another one for the back yard. Not the back of a dumpster trunk, just a normal pickup truck....

Everyone here helped me alot to get a pine tree cut in my yard. You referred me to Dave at Bayou Tree Service and it worked great. I now need a load of dirt in the front and backyard and a French drain also in the front and backyard. You guys recommend anyone? I live in Baton Rouge and don't wa...

My wife and I are having a son in September and looking for an individual that can watch him starting in December. We had several options in Denham Springs for our first son, but now that we live in Baton Rouge it is much harder to find someone. She has looked on Care.com, Facebook, and Craigslist...

re: Best 65' 4k TV - lsulaker
LG 65EF9500. I have this TV and it is amazing. Cleveland Plasma is having really good deals on them right now- call them for it. The blacks are unparalleled. I watched Gravity recently and it looked amazing. It truly looks better than movie theater screens (excluding IMAX of course) I can ...
