According to an article I read it took two years and over a thousand workers, including several hundred Amish carpenters. The weirdo doing it all (same guy that made creationist museum) said maybe Noah hired laborers. Funny how a guy that believes in a strict, literal interpretation of the Bible is now compelled to make inferences to help explain the story. He may have inadvertently set himself and other fundamentalists on a path towards realizing that Noah, Adam & eve, job, Jonah are all allegorical and not intended to be taken literally. Which, of course, is the view that most mainliners take on those stories. Unfortunately fundamentalist doctrine overshadows mainline views in the news.

Say what you want about Noah, but he advanced his sea-faring story along much better than The Mother of Dragons. And he did it all by himself!

I read a theory that Noah was a floating merchant. So, when the flood came, he basically tied other crafts to his and they had this huge floating group of rafts.
That explains the animals...they were there because they were intended to be sold.
Then the story morphed into the animals arriving, and thr duration of The Flood.
How does the museum know what the antediluvian animals looked like? Extinct animals are sculpted?

The process may have taken some time, but eventually all of the animals were able to exit the Ark to spread around the globe

You'd figure the construction alone would tip these lunatics off. How long did it take to build that ark...
Same way I believe the pyramids were built, with no technology ....

The pyramids were built by thousands of paid Egyptians over hundreds of years. The Ark was supposedly built by a single family.
Of course, Noah also supposedly lived to be 500 years old so he probably had plenty of time
I love watching the looks on people's faces when they try to explain this to mixed company. The cognitive dissonance palpable. Deep down, most suspect it's bullshite.

Damn, a lot of people in this thread going to Hell. I'd love to go see this and yes I believe the story literally. Argue away.

There's really not anything to argue about, people who believe this stuff in 2016 are immune to reason and capable of believing literally anything.

I sure hope lightning doesn't strike it.

I wonder if it will float-for real. BS if it doesn't IMHO

So why would it not be true?
But I always wonder why the fish got a free pass or did the salt water mixing with fresh water kill all the fish. I bet it stunk for months afterwards, if so.

There's pretty evident proof that there was a massive flood several thousand years ago..

The vast majority of ocean life would have been killed be desalination, and every single land plant would have been killed. Of course, the amount of water necessary to elevate sea levels globally to the extent describe in the Bible doesn't even exist on Earth

There have been numerous massive floods in numerous eras recorded throughout human history. There is no scientific objection to large scale local floods.
The flood described in Genesis is a scientific impossibility.
