I just accepted a job in Alexandria and will soon move up there.

Where's a good place to live (on a non-OT baller budget), what's fun, good place to get a drink, etc.

looking for a good scouting report for CenLA

Fin I've never been to Alexandria so I cannot comment on the level of suckiness there.

Can you?

I lived in Alexandria for a year in Magnolia Trace apartments, and they were good.

That complex is a good place. I split my grocery shopping between Kroger and Wal Mart. Hokus Pokus liquor store is really good. Bayview is a dive bar I went to most often. Passable movie theatre. The mall is depressing except for the Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I can't think of any restaurants besides chains that I went to alot, but someone else could have restaurant recs. It's not like I was miserable living there.

Had to go there for a weekend about a month ago. I hope you're getting paid very well.

Where you gonna be working? Also if you are single you won't like it much, if you have a family it's the perfect place for you... Also we are gonna have to have a WWE PPV watch party!!!

These are all legit responses. That place is seriously terrible.

I'd move there. I'd love to be within driving distance of False River, LSU, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and decent food....even if it is Alexandria.

Hell, I miss Memphis.
