Acura TL owners, will you be buying the TLX?

With the new tlx being a lot tsx and smaller than the previous tl is it a downgrade? Why can't they can't their stuff together? The 2006 TL was the best car ever in their lineup.
Edit: edit made.

I edited that mistake. Thanks.

Acura's while being excellent cars for the most part, always just miss the mark.
There just isn't enough separation from the Honda, IMO.

Looks like a cross breed between an accord and a maxima. No interest here.

You didn't have to use a spy pic of the TLX. They're out already right?

I still have my 07 TL-Type S, but I hardly drive it. It has less than 100k miles.

The front end of that thing is hideous.
Who approves the designs on these things? Stevie Wonder?

Wasn't a spy pic. I'm on my phone so that was the first thing that showed up on images.

Pretty much. The biggest upgrade is typically all wheel drive.
They also don't have great color selection. Various shades of white, grey, and black. Sometimes a deep navy, and perhaps a dark maroon.

I couldn't have said it any better. This sums it up perfectly.

Their technology offering is top notch. Voice activation and voice recognition is probably one of the best in the industry.

Sync by Ford and GM's CUE are pretty awesome as well.
Admittedly, I haven't used Acura's offering, but honestly, everyone's is pretty good now.
Acura is a fine car and at one time they set the bar for near-luxury compacts, really almost inventing the segment. They just let their early lead slip away by not moving up-market quickly enough.

My gf has the TSX and took hers in for service and got a TLX as a loaner. That is a sweet ride and drives great. The salesguy said they did the 'hybrid' b/c people were having issues deciding between the TSX and the TL.
She's buying one next week once she's done paying off her current ride.

That classic TL from the mid 2000's was the last cool car that Acura made IMO.
They're so fricking ugly and janky looking now. Seriously, Buick has passed them. Kia has passed them. They suck.

The tlx has amazing transmissions. The dual clutch is world class and the nine speed automatic holds gears as long as you wasnt it to while in sport mode. The headlights are also very nice. Nothing else about the car stands out, and I really like acura. All luxury cars have great interior tech now so acura doesnt really impress me there.

They also made a big mistake by never putting a V8 in any one of their models.
