My son just took his. He got a 16.

He is in the 7th grade.

If your kid takes the ACT in the 7th grade then he will

take his cousin to prom

Was it Louis CK who said there is no such thing as a person that does not test well... only dumb people.

Just curious, what are the reasons for a 7th grader to take ACT? HS entrance?

They had this Duke thing and invited select 7th graders to take it just to experience it.

My daughter got a 20 when she was in 7th and my son got a 21. Plus they both bombed science because they never heard of half the stuff. But they rocked on English and Math.

It was a cool experience for them to go to LSU to take the test.

I remember doing this. It was hard as shite, but well worth the experience.

ACT is a good measure of intelligence coming out of high school, but is a poor predictor of classroom and career performance IMO.

I took the ACT hungover on two hours of sleep and feeling nauseous and still made a 33... at all these people that struggle to break the mid-20s.

haha yeah it's so hilarious that the general population doesn't all test in the 99th percentile.

Yeah, I ended up with a 33 as well. Had a 26 in 9th grade. Bunch of dummies in here.

There sure are a bunch of dummies in here.

I also made a perfect math score on my SAT... twice.
