Exactly. I married a girl that worshipped the ground I walked on and got me into church. How was I supposed to know one day she'd turn into a lying, cheating pill head? You never know, and I don't care how good of a woman you think she is.

Very accurate

Marriage is a losing proposal for men these days

Better off putting half your net worth on a hand of blackjack

The fact that she coerced you into going to church. Red flag 101.

Glad to hear but any relationship I've ever had typically sucked after the 6-8 month mark.

That shite is just not easy.

The insecurity of men and their mistakes of marrying before the age of 30 come out in these BS threads. Don't rush into having kids either. Take the first two years of marriage and travel and enjoy them. You've got plenty of time to have kids.

Was it one of those churches that focus on redemption and tons of sloots and burnouts go to and "turn their lives around"?

Where they have crazy bands and really energetic services?
Reverse ATMs?
Swaggart-esque preachers?

Because those girls are still total sluts. No amount of jeebus can get the whore out.

It's not easy. It takes effort and work but is exceptionally rewarding to be able to share incredible life events with someone. Yes I know of 4 friends who've gotten divorced. 2 were her fault 2 were his

I don't know if I'd go that far, but they better be culling the herd like a MF, and be super selective. I have no intention of getting remarried, ever, but if I did, I swear, I'd almost certainly go out of this country and find one appreciative. The odds of finding that here are so slim it's ridiculous. It's gotten much worse too over time. I feel for the young guys getting out of college and looking for that. All I can say is be the pickiest SOB on the damn planet, because women can sell and close like nobody's business. They're good, because they buy their own BS.

I laughed at that one. I tried online dating (for real and not just the typical Tinder hookup) once. It was like a list of people you'd never date. You get messages from females and think, "damn she has a lot of nerve." Haha

And the one constant in that data set is You.

And I say that as a guy who has a wife to stick by my side through it all over the last 20 years. Marrying the wrong woman can make your life hell. But marrying the right woman can make your life awesome.

20 years ago, the ratio of right women to wrong women was navigable.

Today, it is a shitstorm. Your odds are better of getting struck by lightning.

I will admit I recently fell for this trap. Women lie so fricking much it's ridiculous.

I honestly think they come pre-programmed that way. Even the good ones. Hell, even mine

You don't have to be smarter than your girl, necessarily.....just be smart enough to see through her bullshite WHEN she trots it out.

Your lucky though. You took the non-traditional route and you know what I mean....

I dated this lying witch for 5 years who sucked the life out of me. The signs were there. I failed to acknowledge it. My friends and family tried to warn me but I was a narcissist

Another constant is women. That's a single entity. Unless he is gay.
