The poor idiot my ex married. She had him convinced the reason she started using drugs is because I abused her. I'm a big guy. I asked him if he was too stupid to think that if I had abused her, where are the hospital and police records? He said, "well she told me you pushed her down the stairs." I informed him that we lived in a one story house.

She never told him about the affair. I did though, and his dumb arse still married her.

Yep. I remember seeing one where the woman was like, "don't message if you don't own a home." Trouble was she was 23. Lol.

Now with the modern woman, job opourtunjties, social media, etc. the first time she doesn't feel like she's getting what others say she deserves, she wants out.
I suppose that genie isn't going back in the bottle so I'd just use caution in finding the right mate.

That's because marriage, essentially an institution created by the Church, is not natural just like religious dogma is not natural. Men and women are destined for spiritual partnerships in the future to aid each other in spiritual evolution. We are entering a totally new paradigm right now with regards to the collapse of old, rigid institutions. This is being created by the collective human subconscious as a survival instinct. We sprang from nature and are an integral part of nature. Therefore, we sense that old institutions, dogma, and rigid top-down society is crumbling to make way for something more grassroots and egalitarian. Humans sense it because they sense the multilayered crisis points that challenge us right now and know if action isn't taken soon, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

My sister is going through a divorce in the exact opposite situation. That's what she gets for marrying a struggling "artist" that thinks he's the reincarnation of Tesla.

Apparently it's good to be a man in a divorce in Texas. He stayed in the house that she paid for, and has post-nup signed by husband stating he has no rights to house. He pays no child support, gets visitation and was not forced to leave the home. He finally left a week ago after being there alone since early October. No idea why we can't get a fair divorce court system.
