FIFY. My wife works a professional job all day and goes out of her way to cook, play with our son and spend time with me when we're all home. We split cleaning because we both make the mess. We couldn't be more happy.

It's so weird when these threads come up, given that this is a southern website and half the dudes here probably married extremely conservative women. There are exceptions of course - ones you can't see coming.
But for every one of these "good girls" who go over to the skank side, there are 20 trashy girls with their dudes in the background going "OMG what happened to my angel" while all their friends go "she's always been a whore, we told you, you're an idiot."

Yeah, no way. And not always just because they're so loyal they'll only whore it up for their husbands. We tend to skip over that there is probably a huge swath of women that are practically asexual, much to the detriment of their husbands. I'm not saying that's better, I'm just using it to challenge the %.
Not sure if it's the oilfield influence on this site or what, but a lot of pain can be avoided by listening to what other people say about your GF and trying to look at it unemotionally. I'm just constantly amazed to come across marriages where the guy is getting cheated on and there are huge warning signs, or the girl is just an awful person, and the guy should have known because everyone in his life despises her.
If all your friends hate her or tell you she's got a wandering eye, that shite is on you. If 90% of her life is on social media, or she thinks the Kardashians are interesting, everything is for show, then that shite is also on you. If she takes selfies by herself, or has ever made a duck face pose in her life, and you marry her? Well, you deserve it.

I got the house and 50/50 custody. No child support. No alimony. My kids love me and we do a ton of fun stuff together.

None of married friends seem happy but I don't think they have ever been cheated on. They all married pretty great, educated girls too and despite that, their lives just are so depressing.
It's always interesting to me to hear all these guys on the ot say how happy thier marriages are, when I've just never met any men who feel that way irl.

Our society creates unrealistic expectations about what marriage is and should be. That one size fits all belief creates havoc in the real world.

Some of you on here are some seriously miserable counts.
No being married is not like single 20 year old you in college with strange pussy literally and figuratively falling in your lap.
