I hope he didn't go off getting his first little taste of the nightlife and took a ride with local strangers

And I further hope he went walking down the levees and just got lost.

His father is a very reasonable, level-headed man. He has not overtly/publicly expressed his frustration at police efforts. It's not like he's out there demanding every agency put everything else on hold.

If it was my son, I wouldn't be as calm of level headed. I can't imagine as a parent what these people are going through.

If it was a pretty white girl, this would be national news.

Very strange situation with the boy leaving behind his wallet, car, computer and anything of value.

Why? The only connection is it's LSU related. Not to sound overly harsh..

He took off and will be heard from again when he desires.

He will be found dead.

He will never be found.

I wonder if he was taking Ambien? That stuff makes people do crazy stuff at night.

I was thinking maybe it's a reason he would leave his apartment without his things. If it was that then something must have happened to him while he was out.

In the end, that's probably not what happened. BUT, that is a very interesting theory. I never thought of that. People have been caught miles away in their cars driving after taking that stuff so it's completely possible that he took his meds then sleepwalked away. Hmmmmm...Maybe walked off and drowned in the lake or something. I mean, it could have happened...

Has a kidnapping been ruled out? If he left his wallet, keys, phone and car behind and decided to leave on foot, someone or a camera somewhere has to have seen him. You don't just disappear.

Once had a neighbor whose son 18-19 went missing, same type thing wallet and other belongings were left in his room. He was found in another state, police found him wandering around in the middle of the night acting strange, they assumed he was on drugs. Since he had no ID on him, and he was unable to tell them who he was it took several days for them to sort things out. Turned out he had some type of chemical imbalance that did not manifest itself until then, after that episode he spent some time in a mental ward, and they were able to treat him with medication. They never did figure out how he got to where he was when he was picked up.

I don't think anything has been ruled out at this point.
