2016: Volvo XC60 vs Acura MDX vs Toyota Highlander

Or Jeep Grand Cherokee. I'm looking to buy a new vehicle and narrowed it down to these 4 for the SO.
Volvo XC60 and Jeep GC are the leaders. Safety is a huge concern as well. How bad are the blind spots and that sort of stuff.
I have read reviews and cons but would like to gauge any advice from td posters.
If any posters can offer up their perspective I would appreciate it!

JGC is the only RWD one of the bunch.
ETA and it will be the only 4x4 one as well, I believe the others come in AWD or FWD.

I looked at grand Cherokees over the weekend. I like everything about them except their track record of reliability

The highlanders have a good resale value and ride really smooth.
I like the JGC as well. Don't know much about the other two.

They're about to do a major re-design of the XC-60 to match the other new Volvos. It's going to be a hellova lot nicer. If that matters to you.

I'm leaning very heavy on the volvo. It's the best looking and has superb safety aspects.

Get her an X3 or maybe the MDX.

Xc60 vs Xc90... I don't need to fit 7 people at all. They are pretty much dead on between the two besides seating 5 vs 7
I have a Tahoe with a 3rd seat in which is why I don't need the XC90
