I can't imagine that is legit.

The most googled brands for each state are probably amazon, yahoo, ebay and other sites that people google rather than typing into a browser bar.

I mean, there is just no way in hell that Castrol is the second most googled brand in Georgia.

i think the correlation of brand to state is employment. if you look at what brands are googled in what states, a lot of the brands have corporate offices or headquarters in said state.
