Was at 197k with my first car, a 94 Nissan Altima.
Only major issue was replacing the clutch, but other than that it was a great car.

'08 Honda Accord
138,000 miles
Power locks don't work
Radio/AC lights have gone out
Issues with a brake caliper
No power train issues but annoying crap I thought I was avoiding by buying a Honda. Power locks were an issue well before 100k.
Going to buy a Toyota or Lexus next. Wife has had zero issues with her highlander.

Correct, you should expect 100k with no problems out of most vehicles.

'06 Tacoma with 155K & no troubles; other than routine maintenance including getting a new battery every 2 years (FL is brutal on batteries) the only thing I've HAD to do is replace the front U-joint & put in a new stereo (the volume only worked when it wanted to). I did upgrade my exhaust system & shocks/struts: Thorley headers, dual exhaust, NO catalytic converters (THANK YOU FLORIDA!!!!) & Bilstein shocks/struts. Goal is 300K miles.

215K Toyota tundra. Other than changing oil, tires, and brakes a few times I've done nothing to it.

2000 Cherokee XJ inline 6 4X4. well over 100k. had defective a/c completely replaced soon after i first bought it (under warranty), in 2003 with 60K miles. Since then nada and i do not baby it.

they don't. They're exponentially better. They have much more power, get better fuel mileage, last longer, are easier to work on, and will save your life in a crash. I'm gonna chalk that one
Somewhat true but I disagree on the easier to work on, last longer and more power comments.
Less stuff under the hood relates to more stuff to break/go out. My old 79 cj with the 4.0 I6 was a torque beast. This 2013 I have sucks when it comes to power/get up/pick up.
Any person with minimal skill could change any part on any vehicle "back in the day".

05 acura mdx over 100k no issues. I did buy it with about 90k on it, saved me boat loads of cash.

2009 Infiniti G 37. 105k+. Almost entirely highway miles commuting in Houston. No issues. Brakes, tires and spark plugs - only normal maintenance.

Just put new tires on my 2008 4Runner with 110k.
I agree with the above posts, 100k isn't an accomplishment IMO...at least I hope not. I plan on getting far more.

2005 Mazda 3, it has 110K on it now with no major problems.
Did have an engine mount break, but it was fixed under warranty.
I had to have the motor on the driver window fixed, and the AC switch as well, but all minor repairs. Nothing that affected the ability to drive it.

Had a resistor pack go bad in the AC controls, other than that, no major repairs. It has 241K miles now.

2011 yukon 4x4 100K miles, only oil changes and brakes, although the brake light switch is acting up and preventing my cruise control from working, but it's a cheap fix
2009 accord 105K miles, only oil changes and brakes
