Well that was rather aggressive. So sue me for drinking beer on a Saturday and making a clerical error. Dick.

I've been doing 40-60 side arm push-ups (hands are at rib cage level) every other day to complement my planche training so I guess I could try and 1000 for the month haha.

This sounds like an awful way to ruin your shoulders.

Doing 300+ push-ups a day for 30 days sounds idiotic.

Heard the same arguments last time this was done. I got through the 10,000 and my shoulders are fine.

10,000 - Pushups 1,000 - Pullups 100 - Miles

All in one month? I think the miles would be where I failed. After doing the push-ups one last yr it just becomes too time consuming for me to want to do it again.

Same here. I do push ups pretty regularly already tho. Maybe if you never do push ups it might cause problems.

I'm not sure I can accomplish this with work and such but I'm definitely down to give it a go and see if I can make it.. Even getting close will be an improvement on what I'm doing now (little to nothing)

What is the point of this exactly? What does everyone expect to get out of it?

It's something done to challenge yourself. At least that's why I want to do it.

you won't mess up your wendler gains so long as you break it up into sets that are way below your failure point, something you can do with ease. Its what greyskull teaches with the frequency method exercises. Which is the perfect program for people before they start 5/3/1.

But I am in. I have been doing sets of 15 ten or twelve times a day for the last few weeks but find my self slacking off a bunch. Hopefully this will motivate me.

Im sure I'll do a variation of this to get ready for BOLC.

I'll be throwing sit-ups and running in as well.
