I nailed it. He was the first guy I thought of. P/PK selected in the first round the year we go 1-15. I don't know what the Saints were thinking.
A few years later, they draft Morten Andersen in the 4th round and he winds up being one of their most reliable offensive weapons of all time.

Hell, Erxleben wasn't the best kicker in Texas the year he was drafted, that honor went to Tony Franklin who nailed a couple 65 yarders when he was at aTm.
What made it worse for Erxleben is some of it came against the Falcons, in the Superdome.

It SHOULD be Bobby Hebert. The Saints had a legit chance at a SB run during the 1990 season with the defense that it had. But the arse whip sat out the season over money. Saints go 8-8, and were one and done in the playoffs.
