Throw out the name of the guy or guys that you hope are not a temptation for the Saints to draft at #11.

Fournette

McCaffrey

Fournette, McCaffrey, howard, and Allen.

Those 4 are quality players, but they don't match our need.

Why Allen? He fits us okay. It's a little overlap with Rankins/Fairley, but he can play DE in base. He'd likely kick inside on subs, but having too many good DL isn't a problem. We could still pick a pure EDGE rusher with one of the other picks.

Completely disagree with Howard and if he's there at 11 if most defensive guys are gone you have to at least think about it. Outside of Thomas and Snead, what other reliable pass catchers do we have? Fleener has been a disappointment and the WR's behind them are inconsistent.

I hope all the DBs we would be tempted to take are off the board. I think front 7 pass rusher is the glaring need and the draft is deepest at DB so would make sense to wait until 32 or 42 to fill that need.

You can get Engram later and he's just as good as Howard. Or that big white boy there was a thread about yesterday, shaheen.

LF7
McCaffery- Not a need
Foster - If off our board, rather him picked
Trubisky
Howard- Wouldn't mind the pick at 11 but would maybe push bigger need down
Any WR
2nd QB makes dreams come true

Would leave (Garrett, Thomas, Allen, Adams, Hooker, Lattimore)

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they picked a TE with any of our first 3 picks

This is absolute lunacy if you really believe that. Howard can actually block. There's a reason one is a top 10 pick and one has a 2nd round ceiling.

10 offensive players.

Realistically 4-6 offensive players (always the potential of a surprise QB run). Both backs, a TE and/or WR, and QB or two.

Agreed. I'm very pro-defense for 11 and 32, but wouldn't be upset with Howard at all.
