In some ways I agree. After watching three games for each player. Curry is twice the MVP Harden thinks he is. ...

I would love Collins this year playing at guard and then next year draft another early guard to move him outside. ...

re: Seven Round Mock Draft - VA LSU fan
We have Cooks, Colston, Morgan, Watson, Hill, and Spiller as good to great pass catchers. I agree we need another but not just a high pick unless it is Cooper at 13 or Perriman or Parker at 31. ...

re: Another Mock Draft has the Saints moving up to #5 - VA LSU fan
13, 44, and 75 are worth more than pick 5. Especially considering talent 5-15 is about equal. And 15 through 40 is also equal. I would rather trade up from 31 if someone like Collins, Shelton, or Parker are still there around pick 25. Only Leonard Williams or Amari Cooper are worth moving up...

re: It is obvious that Monty is not the long term answer. So what is the solution? - VA LSU fan
Monty reminds me of Scott Brooks. His elite talent makes him look better than he really is. This team has an all time great in Davis and 4 fringe allstars in Anderson, Evans, Gordon, and Holiday. I think UVA's Tony Bennett with his defensive coaching abilities would get the Pelicans to 55+ wins ...

re: Obligatory: we have the picks to go get AP... - VA LSU fan
I honestly would rather have Ingram, Spiller, pick 31, and pick 44 along with +/- 4 million in cap space than Adrian Peterson any day of the week. Even a 1,600 yd year and 16 Td's year from Peterson might be lower than our current Smash and Dash backfield. ...

re: General Draft Buzz about Edge Rushers, etc - VA LSU fan
I wish there was a crystal ball just for who is available at pick 31. If I knew Harold would be there at 31 I would love to have Schreff, Collins, or even White or Cooper. But since he probably will not the Saints will probably have to pick any of Fowler, Beasley, Dupree, Gregory or Ray. ...

re: Mock Trends - VA LSU fan
I like Maxx Williams, just not at pick 31. Would rather grab Harold, Peters, or one of the many top ILB available. At 31 Williams will always be expected by the media to fill Graham's shoes. ...

re: Reaction of the Spencer Signing on vs Saints Talk - VA LSU fan
I like the pick up, the Saints can go BPA now with all of their first 5 picks, with a small focus on trying to get one interior lineman and one linebacker of some type with those picks. But with Spencer in fold a player like Cooper at 13 or even Dorial Green-Beckham at 31 even with we just drafted S...

re: Bryan Bennett QB Southeastern Louisiana 6th Or 7th Round Prospect? - VA LSU fan
No Waste of pick. Brees has 4 or 5 good years left. We either ride that train to his retirement or draft a little more of a blue chipper like Bryce Petty in the 3rd or pass on a qb all together. If we draft Petty then maybe we can swing a trade to send Brees to another team for a boatload of pick...

re: Draft "Rumor" about the Saints possibly moving up to 5th - VA LSU fan
I'd do picks 13, 78, 154 and next years 2nd to move up. Only for Williams though. Or Mariota if we can trade Brees for pick 2 and the Titans first rounder next year. ...

re: Bucky Brooks has Saints picking Mariota at 13 - VA LSU fan
I am so on the fence in a scenario like this. While I believe the low cost quarterback would allow us to go the Seattle/San Francisco route a load up at the other positions a have a 5 year window instead of a 2. You give me Mariota at pick 13, then I can trade Brees to the titans for whomever the...

re: Who do you take #1 in NBA draft - VA LSU fan
Towns>Okafor>Culley-Stein Not sure I would take Cullen-Stein over Kaminsky if I needs offense. A team like Sacramento, Indiana or Charlotte would lean Kaminsky. While Phoenix, Boston, and Denver would lean Culley-Stein....

re: Kaminsky...great college player, but that's it - VA LSU fan
He's 7 feet tall and can hit three's. In Today's NBA he will be in someone's rotation of top 8 players. If he drops out of the top 15 then his chances go up for having a solid career. Drafted top 5 then he could flame out if too much pressure to save a franchise is pit on him. I would have a hard ti...
