The Saints draft could have been so much better

We could have had 4 starters but Payton had to get smart and trade away picks when we have no depth.

Then keep Rankins and draft Kendall Fuller in the 3rd. Point is we shouldn't have traded picks to move up. There was a lot of talent left in the 3rd and 4th rounds.

Rankins and Thomas will be starters for sure. Bell and On-yo-momma will likely see lots of playing time, but I don't think they will be starting too often.
The RB we grabbed on the 7th round will likely see some playing time on special teams and as a recieving threat out of the backfield in some packages.
Also, we picked up several UDFA o-linemen who could all compete for starting spots at right guard.
