I take great joy in watching your ignorance and blind, unwavering support for a franchise constantly bottom five in the entire league.

LSU players in draft next year:

S-Jamal Adams*

FS Bell
SS Adams

That would be a safety tandem however our other top needs will still most likely be

DE, MLB, CB, and OG...although safety could be bumped depending on the future of Byrd/Vaccaro as Saints.

We will never draft Jamal Adams. He went to LSU. We are looking at hundreds of different players. Don't have time for guys like this.

Sorry I don't pump sunshine up my when I wake up every morning. I just enjoy watching good football. Karma has dictated that it's not going to happen in Nola for a while. As long as we're living in 2009-11 and keep our head berried in the sand, we'll continue being forcefed less-than mediocre football.

He is trolling. He's part of a group that colludes together to troll this board. I just ignore the grillnuts at this point.

btw - yes, my suggested solution is simple:

DRAFT PROVEN PLAYERS FROM RELEVANT CFB AND NOT THESE CHILDREN IN WHICH OUR IDIOTIC SCHEMEY FRONT OFFICE SEES "GREAT POTENTIAL"

The implications of this post are possibly the most crucial elements in understanding why the Saints are a third rate franchise at this point.

Anyone who sees otherwise is bent over, head berried up to the neck ready to be taken from behind by the Cardinals, Broncos, Seahawks, Falcons, etc, and everyone else that features their SEC draft talent.

I really can't tell anymore. The trolls used to be obvious because they were so over the top, but now the morons have caught up.

Seriously though, if anyone still believes in a Saints bias against LSU, can we just put that to bed now?

You can find every Saints pick going back to 1967 (which, for you bandwagoners, was the year the Saints were founded) on Pro Football Reference ( LINK)

Out of 538 draft picks, the Saints have drafted 9 players from LSU. That may seem like a low number, but the most tapped school by the Saints is a tie between USC and Nebraska with 17. You may think that that is a big difference because it is almost double, but the 9 from LSU is 2% of total drafted and the 17 from USC/Nebraska is 3% of total drafted. You don't have to have a degree in Statistics (but luckily for you, I do) to realize that that is a very small difference in %. Statistically speaking, that is an insignificant difference. Meaning that statistically speaking, there is no difference between the amount of players drafted from LSU than any other school. The Saints have historically done a great job of drafting evenly from every school.

These guys' only reason for existing is piss us off, and to see that.

If we ignore them, they'll have no reason to stick around.

Price for Production easy.. First two years in league Ingram- 278 carries for 1076 yards Blue- 352 carries for 1,226 yards

The funniest argument in this entire thread. You basically just proved yourself wrong. Ingram averaged more yards per carry than blue in those stats. and he was hurt the majority of his first two years

Im a huge LSU fan but man to think that blue is better than Ingram is just blind homerism. Not to mention blue will barely see the field in year 3 while ingram came on strong. Maybe an argument can be made for Hill but then again we needed a RB the year we drafted Ingram. Needs weren't the same in the 2013/2014 draft.

and looking back at that running back class Demarco Murray is really the only one that has had a better career than Ingram. The rest of the class has either been cut, injured, or has been a career back-up/ situational player.
