he's a man to man corner playing a tampa 2 scheme.
If Ryan wants him, go for it. If he isn't good, he'll get cut though

Nah I don't want to trade Ingram for him. Not sure how anyone can still be saying that after this year. Just sounds like your regurgitating all the offseason BS. You trade him your back to needing to draft another RB.
Come the offseason, Id love to get Claiborne. If Greer is really completely done, CBs gonna be a big priority whether trough the draft or trade. Seems like a natural fit. Not to mention he already played with Ryan for a year and he basically hand-picked him.

We can't trade anyway.

Last season, Claiborne's coverage was pretty good, but his run defense was lousy.

I don't think anyone should be asking him to assist in run defense. I mean it's not like you don't take a guy who's great in coverage because he's not the best in run support.

I was just thinking about scenarios before going to bed. I don't think it will happen for multiple reasons, one being his contract. We have too much to make for anyway without his contract, but I believe he would be a great fit. We would have a great young secondary if it happened though.

Trade 2 future high picks 2nd next season & 1st in 2015.

Who was it that told me TM7 was only allowed to do his thing because of mo Claiborne and that Claiborne was by far the superior player?

Although I wouldn't mind M.Claiborne in the black and gold, I think P.Rob and Greer's injuries will have us looking to the draft. Figure 1st or 2nd round picks to the OL and CB. I'd rather have more picks then trading them. In payton/loomis we trust.

As far as the OP's idea is from being a real possibility, the thread doesn't get the shithead should we down vote. he at least made an effort to make a case as to why and how (even if weak).
The player miscast in the system is the strongest part of his case. His contract looks more off putting than attractive to me.
The boys have so much draft capital invested in him (traded #14 & #45 to get him) they won't be fire selling him yet. Say ya could get this former #6 overall for next year's 1st (which will be very late at worst)... 1) you get him only for 2 years in his rookie deal. 2) By MC's performance so far, next year's late 1st Rd CBs would prolly be rated higher than him now.
Cannot make the dots connect

How about Dre Kirkpatrick? He's out of scheme in Cincinnati. Too soon for Dee Milliner? Javier Arenas perhaps? Just some random suggestions.

Ask yourself that question about rob Ryan

Dallas didn't think Rob Ryan was good.
ETA: shite, I was the 10th guy to post something like this.

Because he's LSU, Brah! Everyone knows that LSU is the greatest program God has ever blessed, and we need to bring every former player onto the Saints. Let's bring the entire 0 points vs Bama team here and win it all!!!!!
The sad part is that these threads keep on coming and they get 5 pages of attention. I used to love LSU, but the barrage of these idiotic homer threads have made me lose my passion for the tigers. Miles + annoying fans = disliked team

Only if he his cut. Mo would be a good nickel for us, but we need a all pro at starting cb. Draft the best cb available with our first pick because Jabari getting old and injuries have taken a toll

This is wrong. He is thought of very well here.

Bump.
Captain M. conversation had me thinking of this.
I heard people say that Rob Ryan had him graded out higher than any corner since Deion Sanders.
Seriously.
He's def. a press man corner playing in a Cover 2 scheme.
I'd love to have him. Rookie contract too.
I think he could be had... I'd give up a 3 for him without thinking twice.
I could care less that he went to LSU. Zero fricks.
Thoughts?
