Mo Claiborne is too stupid to play in the NFL. I don't want him....Until we actually sign him, like any other player, then he instantly becomes a great sign....I just don't see this guy panning out in the NFL, at least not to the point where he lives up to the hype coming out of LSU. A change of system to our scheme would do absolutely nothing for him. He was even worse under Ryan's defense than he was this past year. I'd respectfully say...PASS...Much rather us draft Stanley Jean Baptiste in the 2nd round...Or sign Captain Munnerlyn or Alterraun Verner.

To rank him above Hyde, Mason, or Carey is just putting him above them bc he went to LSU.

an argument could easily be made for Hill being better than all those guys.

Hill is a lot bigger and just as fast as Mason. He ran for more ypc by over a yard in the same conference

Find one credible source that ranks him above all of those guys....
He is bigger than Mason, but Mason has better balance and vision. I would take balance and vision over being bigger. Hill is also a poor pass blocking back with off the field issues.
Sure he can get better at pass blocking and mature but right now he is not the best back in this class. He would have benefitted from staying another year

He is a lot bigger than Mason, but there is no way in hell that he comes close to the speed Tre Mason has and plays with. Hill is a bruiser, Mason is a gasher. Can't even compare the two really.

Mason will run over a 4.5 at the combine. Hill repeatedly breaks long runs which is one of the reasons his YPC is so high.

The gasher should have a much higher YPC than the bruising back

Well that's wrong because we drafted al woods in the fourth a few years ago

I stand corrected, but that still doesn't make much difference to the point being made...does it?

Charles grant was pretty good for a few years. Stinchcomb wasn't shabby either

Stinchcomb wasn't a first rounder. I didn't get into the later rounds on Alabama and Georgia players. If I did, the numbers get even worse.

And judging new prospects based on what players from 10-30 years ago did is completely idiotic

and I agree that his off the field problems will make him drop. I said an argument could easily be made that he's a better running back, not that he would go higher.

He was more productive than Mason in the same conference. He has ball security. He fumbled once in his career at LSU where Mason fumbled the ball 8 times in the last 2 seasons.

I'm not sure how anyone could complain about his balance. He was great at keeping it and getting past linebackers while at LSU

He ran for more YPC despite being slower than Mason, having less balance than Mason, and having worse vision than Mason

I don't disagree. I think the Saints would be very fortunate to get Landry or Beckham.

How dare you suggest NO drafts a Tiger! We can't draft anyone from LSU.

Exactly! God forbid we take a player from the school that has the second most players on NFL rosters! Inconceivable!

We don't need a Landry or Beckham. We need a true deep threat. Stills is just fine for what Beckham and Landry do.

We should not trade Ingram he is not the problem it is the OL not having the abilty to block and produce wholes and gaps in which produce those yardages. Pierre Thomas is good but the future is Tarvais Cadet

No way. We need some legit receivers and Beckham/Landry would definitely improve our WR corps. Landry is a >>> version of Lance Moore

Stills is a great up-and-coming receiver and should have a nice career, but it's not about him being able to do what others can do. We need to get younger at the position while the getting is good.

Jeremy hill has good to great balance, and great field vision. You don't watch do you.

I don't see any of these backs being touted as elite pass blockers. Also how often does Mason even pass block? they run 80% of the time.

You put, one, and it was Gil Brandt as a source. The same guy who graded Brock Osweiler as a first round Qb......

I can find about 10 that say he is not even in the top 4. I believe he is in the top 4 personally but not the best back in the draft.
