It's easy to handle things like Cooks when he was the one guy other than Brees who was reportedly untouchable, and is the main receiving option because of all the trades.

well we are all assuming Stills was a cancer, that's true, but it's based on the reporting that Brees specifically wanted him gone. We don't know if that's true, but if it is, then our assumption is likely correct.

Not really. You guys need to start drafting well and get young again. If there's value they should take it. I think they're stressing about their jobs and it's time for the coaches and front office to put up or shut up. I like the approach. I like that they're setting you guys up to be young post Brees instead of inundate with shitty contracts on overpriced vets. Lewis isn't overpriced but I like the attitude they're going with this offseason. Mediocrity be damned. You guys should be proud.

Loving it? They might trade one of the best cb's in the league because he was upset about some stuff. They got rid of their best wr, who isn't even 23 years old yet, because Brees apparently didn't like him.

Well the attitude and culture really changed the last few years. I think guys got well paid and lacksidasiclal and they're trying to reverse the mindset and infuse with young talent. This really is a blessing in disguise. You are getting some solid vets and we'll get guys who are young enough to get on board with the mentality the team had pre-super bowl. Not many teams and coaches have the balls to pull off a complete roster overhaul. I think Payton is your guy to do this

KS and Lewis aren't in the same ballpark in terms of team importance.
We need to pump the breaks. He was easily our 2nd best player last year... He's on a great deal.
