re: Since no else will - landrywasbeast30
Etling honestly looks more talented than every qb Saban has won with at Bama....

re: Terrible blunder not replacing Miles at the end of last season. - landrywasbeast30
Never made sense to me that so many people wanted to give one last chance to this guy to coach a team that everyone from fans to media thought could be special. The logic never made sense. A potential special season was the perfect time to find a real coach....

re: "Clock will start on my signal" - landrywasbeast30
As soon as the ball is spotted and the ref is behind the qb, you can snap the ball. Auburn was doing it all game....

re: We got screwed - landrywasbeast30
You must be listening to the idiot announcers. Don't know what they were looking at, but it very clearly wasn't even close. Also, Etling looked to have crossed line of scrimmage before he let it go anyway....

re: Most talented receiving core bree's has had. - landrywasbeast30
I agree. Can't believe people down voted this. All young too, and they fit together perfectly because they all do different things and have different skill sets....

re: Option play with Brees on the goal line - landrywasbeast30
That was absolutely the play call. It was even more clear on the replay it was a called option....

re: Option play with Brees on the goal line - landrywasbeast30
Looked like option all the way to me. Look at how Brees was holding the ball. He never even tried to turn around and pitch to Ingram. Never even looked back I don't think....

re: Dudley/Batum - landrywasbeast30
Again, one of the main things you are missing is that Dudley can play really good defense as a small ball 4. That's a huge deal in the current NBA. Pels are having trouble finding someone who fits when they play AD at the 5....

re: Dudley/Batum - landrywasbeast30
I'm not even pimping Dudley, I think he's a solid player who isn't going to do much other than be a defensive piece who can knock down a 3pt shot once or twice a game.

The fact is, Pelicans don't need a SF who takes 10 shots a game, between Gee and Cunningham both take 7, w...

re: Dudley/Batum - landrywasbeast30
You comparing Brewer and Dudley? Again, Brewer is nowhere near the defender or shooter Dudley is, especially with Dudley being able to hold his own at the 4. That's a pretty big difference. These guys aren't similar even a little. ETA; my bad, that's Ariza. He is a better comparison, but even...

re: Dudley/Batum - landrywasbeast30
I don't know if Dudley stole your girl or something, but you have no idea what you are talking about. Imagine if Dudley would be playing next to AD instead of Dante Cunningham, and getting those same wide open 3's. That's a huge deal. This team has 2 stars that can get 20 ppg, and should be t...

re: Dudley/Batum - landrywasbeast30
Yes, Dudley, a career 40% 3 point shooter, good defender, great small ball guy, not known for athleticism, loved by analytics nerds, is like Corey Brewer, 29% career 3 point shooter, bad defender, more of an athletic up and down kind of guy, hated by analytics nerds. You really know your stuff. ...

re: Dudley/Batum - landrywasbeast30
Reckon the national guys like him because he is so friendly with all of them and gives great interviews
Yeah, couldn't have anything to do with the fact that he is a really good defender who can guard sf and pf, is great for this new small ball stretch 4 era of basketball, and is a...

re: Dudley/Batum - landrywasbeast30
Totally agree. People overvalue the frick out of QPon, and it seems to get worse the longer he is out.
Not overvaluing anything. He is a nice 3 and d piece in a small ball lineup, and a guy who can play sg and sf. All I was saying was, if you have 2 great players in Jrue and AD, ...

re: Dudley/Batum - landrywasbeast30
Not that Dudley isn't a serviceable guy, but are we talking about the same 30 yr old that averages 8 & 3????
Do you even pay attention to the NBA? This team has to build around Jrue and AD. They need 3 and d guys. Dudley is a great fit next to AD in a small ball lineup. He is a...

re: Austin Rivers stud - landrywasbeast30
I was on here saying it before they drafted him. He was the epitome of average. Could get to the rim some in college, but not a great athlete. Could shoot a little in college, but not a good shooter. Don't think he was ever a good defender. Was listening to a game recently, they were talking ...

re: Dudley/Batum - landrywasbeast30
He is a guy who fits in the lineup with the right guys. If you have Jrue and AD, you need guys like Pondexter. This team desperately needs 3 and d wings. He fits that mold....

Dudley/Batum - landrywasbeast30
Do Pels have any chance to make a run at both Jared Dudley and Nic Batum? Davis, Dudley, Batum, Pondexter, Jrue, could be a killer lineup. Crabbe from Portland is another guy this team should look at signing. Try stealing him from Portland....
