So he was immature by being on the sideline of his COLLEGE team that has ZERO to do with what's going on in the NFL(draft process aside) and getting excited and showing his excitement?

What an immature viewpoint.

Keep college BS out of this(even the bullshite about crossover fans; keep your college fandom the frick out of the NFL).

Now if you want to cry about him slamming the ball down after a "good" run or being stupid on twitter, fine. But that college shite don't fly.

And if you want to talk about him not producing like you think a 1st rounder should, that's fine too. Those are all legit debating points.

Keep the college shite in college.

Wasn't trying to keep up. Just sick of all the stupid whining about how he was on the sideline cheering for Bama. Boo fricking hoo.

And that's not directed straight at you. That's everyone who cries about it.

If you're going to value maturity so much, I'd think you'd accept others' viewpoints without attacking them.

I mean, come on.

Come on now, I like Chad as much as the next guy(and I genuinely do like Chad as a poster most of the time), but he's never been known to be the mature one around here. Patty in that aspect has really turned it around.

That's why it's funny to watch Chad complain about someone else's immaturity.

Even Chad has calmed down. He was like a chicken lit on fire for a while.

Yeah, I never understood people attacking him for being on the Bama sidelines and acting silly/cheering his alma mater on. LSU fans tend to take these things too seriously and need to move past it. I don't think it has anything to do with how good a player he'll be for the Saints.

My main issues with Ingram's behavior are that I wish he'd stay the heck off twitter calling for haters. Kid improved a lot last season, and I hope he keeps it up, but act like an adult and stop trying to start crap on Twitter.

Guy just loves to stoke the fire with fans at times and I think that is what annoys most.

In the end, his job is to be a running back and help the team win. As long as he does that consistently (not for just half a season), people will forget all this crap. Hope he tears it up with Khiry next season and the Saints win another super bowl, but him acting like a "fan" of his alma mater is not something to attack the guy about.

All they are talking about is him cheering on bama's sideline and separating that from nfl. That's not an argument anybody intelligent presented

Definitely agree with this. He needs to show he can do it the whole season, and part of that is staying healthy.

Too bad it may be his last year to prove it, but if that makes him play like a man possessed I'm all for it.

Can we at least agree Ingram is mature enough to not yell "bomb" at the airport?

Wow just read that. What a dumbass. Heading into a contract year and already had character questions. Bye bye big pay day, unless it's in Oakland.

Probably.

But I'd have to relax my feelings about the Saints' integrity though.

Smith has some serious mental issues. The 49ers may have no choice but come down on this wacko. If they don't, the Gestapo will.

For all the cry baby defenders on here using the weak arse Bama card to defend Ingram. Why didn't all of us LSU fans hate Duce? Or Harper? Greer went to UF, where's the hate? Sorry I just don't see the evidence

Not saying it's a good reason, and maybe this has been mentioned already, but hate for Ingram stemming from that was a perfect storm: gave up a lot for him, hadn't really produced yet, and LSU getting embarrassed by his alma mater with him cheering them on the sideline. I think it's dumb, but putting myself in their sick mind, I get it.
