Five, don't be surprised to find out that the second shooter is a myth created by Hayes' team...

so let me get this straight... the NOPD doesn't have the competency to investigate and hold a trial, but they are somehow competent enough to hide evidence and help out a 'local hero' in what has become the biggest murder that I can recall in the city in quite some time???

hey, whatever fits your narrative I guess

nobody knows anything outside of who was there.

I mean, that should be fairly obvious. Its an assumption but one based on solid logic.

Wouldn't that favor Hayes intentionally ramming him?

Intentional or not, the fact remains that Hayes rammed Smith and it did cause damage to the Mercedes and he was charged with aggravated criminal damage to a vehicle, Smith’s Mercedes SUV.

I don't know either guy.

There is nothing to support that Hayes went back to his vehicle for the gun. That would make the case a lot easier.

If Will pulled a gun, and there are brake marks from the hummer, Hayes should probably get off from a legal standpoint.

If Will never touched a gun and was shot 8x in the back with the shooter by the Mercedes' window, it's going to be a hard sell for self-defense.

If he rammed the vehicle without braking, the events that happened after may not legally even matter (in regards to how Smith died) with the way the Louisiana law is written.

And if it's true, people should go to jail. It just doesn't pass the bullshite test at this point.

It is logically unreasonable, and with what we know at this point and Occam's razor, a bad stance to take in an argument.

I just don't see how anyone from the DA to the investigators, go the hospital employees could survive the hiding of ballistics if Will shot his own wife.

We "know" a lot based on crime scene photos and the reports.

Your whole argument is that we don't know anything, because NOPD MAY have tampered with the evidence based on a defense attorney's statements. It's just insanity right now to assume that Will Smith fired shots, and that those shots hit his wife (and they've had people saying that).

But you have zero issues making assumptions on Hayes's mental state when chasing down Smith's car after the H&R.

Of course he was charged with that, it helps the state's case against him.

That doesn't mean he's guilty of it. It isn't unreasonable to think that he was just trying to follow him and didn't stop fast enough. I'd assume the brake patterns can tell us a lot.

The same is true of the alleged "hit and run" on Magazine Street.
