Cardell Hayes, the man accused of murdering former Saints player Will Smith, was indicted Thursday (April 28) on a charge of second-degree murder. A New Orleans grand jury also indicted him in attempted murder of Smith's wife, Racquel, of aggravated criminal damage to a vehicle and on another charge of aggravated assault.
The indictment came during probable cause hearing scheduled at the same time, as witnesses called by the defense testified about the April 9 double shooting.

No - but the 1st officer on the scene did, and she testified that witnesses told her there were 2 shooters. She did not ID other shooter.

To be fair, a DA can generally get an indictment anytime they want.

He's the PI for the defense if I remember correctly, saying a witness told him that. Its his job to say that.
