The PI wouldn't even be able to testify in court, most likely, to what any witness supposedly had to say.
They would need to produce the actual witness for direct and cross examination.

Where did you see that? Just curious.
It's just hard to imagine she didn't look in the vehicle as the door was open and Will Smith's lifeless body was partially hanging out of it. Why would she say "she didn't see any items in Smith's Benz SUV, and no gun"? If she didn't look in she would have either not said anything about items in his car, or state she didn't look in the car

I read the tweet as saying that she testified on cross examination that she did not go into the mercedes.
