I think that's a little high unless Branden Cooks and Mark Ingram make jumps to the next level. we know Payton is overrated as a playcaller, and Brees and Colston are on the decline. our offensive line is still full of questions.

i hope we don't regret trading Kenny Stills... we kind of knew what we were gonna get with Jimmy, and I guess the Saints got tired of it.

I'm pessimistic about this season. But hey, I've been optimistic about the last few and kook how they turned out

Has the Saints offense ever ranked lower than 6th under Brees?

I want to say no, but not 100% sure

Unless something comes out and he gets suspended/kicked out of the league, I don't think it's a great trade. He was a young, cost controlled asset that could stretch the field and could have developed into a WR1 but had a floor of a better than average WR2.

Well, seeing New England's cornerback rotation, I bet I'll be watching him catch a couple of TD's this year

Yeah. They looked inept. Good luck with that.

Sometimes it's the behind the locker room stuff that brings a team down.

Look at Geno Smith and the Jets. Clear case example of no off the field issues, but you know that locker room is a mess with him in it.

The offense will never worry me going into a season. My only concern is stopping the other team.
Defense:
2006 - 13th
2007 - 25th
2008 - 26th
2009 - 20th
2010 - 7th
2011 - 13th
2012 - 32nd (113th in the FBS)
2013 - 4th
2014 - 31st

Jennings > Stills
Parker > Stills
Landry > Stills
You'll forget about him real quick.

Disclaimer-I live in Atlanta, and I like the Falcons, but not what you'd call a fan really. I don't hate the Saints and I'm not trying to stir stuff up.

With that said, it's got to be frustrating to have an offense that good and only one SB appearance. I didn't realize the offense was that good all those years and it feels like a waste of an offense that was dynasty like.

A historical run of being a great offense, mixed in with a historical run of having bad defenses.

fansided is no different that Bleacher Reports, just average joe opinions. I prolly have as good of a take on the Chiefs as he does the Saints.

Matt Verderame, 26, is a New Yorker who was forced to become a Kansas City Chiefs fan by his father. It's a tough lot in life, but somebody has to take up the cause.

Why you gotta come in here and stir stuff up man.

Jk, but yeah, it's been extremely frustrating. It's not so much that the defenses are terrible, it's more that they've been so damn inconsistent.

Clear case was 2011, so many offensive mistakes, but still completely dominated a potent 49ers defense until our defense showed us a glimpse of 2012

He also has the Falcons at 15 and the Bucs of all people at 12. I would take his opinion with a grain of salt.
