And yet Stills led the NFL, or came close to it, in YPC in 2013 while breaking an incredible 1 tackle all year

Stills is a down the field type of WR, Cooks isn't. he's the move the chains wes welker type. Very good player, yes. Possession WR, yes that too.

The entire point is that Cooks is both and played well in that role once he learned his route trees

Cooks will be burning fools deep this year

he's a possession WR because he'll be a guy that catches a lot of balls with a low yards per catch

13.58 YPC over the last 5 games he played last season. I think he'll be closer to that than 10 YPC. I say he gets 12+ YPC this season. Antonio Brown (13.2) doesn't have the YPC of Dez (15.0), Jordy (15.5), Julio (15.3), DT (14.6) and Megatron (15.2).. but he is just as effective. He's not what I'd call a possession receiver. He can play the role, but do much more as well.

Jarvis Landy only had 4/16 games where he averaged more than 11 YPC, Cooks had 5/10 with that trend toward the end of getting 13+YPC

Dude chillllll out its been one freaking season let the man mature and see what he does this year there were times he did go down easy that shite is coachable tho and you cant teach speed and work ethic, how about we just wait and see what happens before you make assumptions off of a year he didnt even finish

Fair post. We'll have to see if the trend continues to match the last 5 games. Im not so sure it will

sounds like easy money for you.

. $100 to you if 10.5 or lower. $100 to me if higher.

for an 8 or 9 YPC WR im even giving you a 1.5 yards of leeway

But the first 5 games is a much better indication of his NFL career

b bb but what about Lesters bet dude? You might get a few more takers on the sub 10ypc blow. It was clear Payton was figuring out how to get him more balls beyond the slot.
Cooks 38 college games, 226 catches, 14.5ypc

Career Avg YPC

5-10 178 DeSean Jackson 17.7
5-10 185 Santonio Holmes 15.5
5-10 183 TY Hilton 15.4
5-9 185 Steve Smith 14.5

Oldtimers
5-9 175 Mel Gray 18.9
5-11 200 DEVERY 17.9
5-9 185 Mark Duper 17.4

dude, he has legit elite speed. He is hardly a possession receiver. I think Coleman will play that role once Colston hangs it up.

We all know his thing

We just love a good Who Dat circle jerk.

He has nothing left now that AD has risen to the throne of the NBA
