i've always been a Hield guy...
no need to wiggle. i was just posting what I read.
i think our order would still be: Okafor.... Dunn, Brown, Hield, Murray
I'm glad it worked out for us to get the guy I liked.

typed out a nice reply about how I still like Poeltl, and Hield was my favorite of the guard trio, but if you actually pay enough attention to what I post to label me as the Poeltl guy, then you probably have seen the Hield stuff I've posted since the tournament too. Ignoring that to make a comment that offers no information of value nor furthers the dialogue just makes you an a-hole.

"Hearing" with respect to sports message boards is pretty well recognized as conveying not simply that you are reading speculation on the internet, but rather someone with information is telling you something.

Thank you!! This has been a pet peeve of mine forever but I never brought it up because I am already seen as obnoxious and stuck up enough. But now that someone else brought it up can we please stop typing that you are "hearing" stuff and just say "I read on (link) that..."

i'm hearing this isn't a news outlet, or even a book report
it's a glorified chat room, where most of the time is spent by mega-posters moderating and critiquing the content, instead of producing new content of their own
when i typed HEARING, it was something i heard using my ears
there is a context implied by the mere fact you've all read other things i've written, and never once did I HEAR anything without my ears.
i got confused as Verrier, and cleared it up quickly, and i've never once said I know a soul that works in the organization.
why would my use of the word HEARING mean something that it never has before?
you are implying your own context based on the result you want... that maybe some people on here have secret inside info, that you got to read before it was public.
how quickly would i be banned if i replied to every post that doesn't further actual discussion with "you are not the editor"
yet some of you whiny bitches post countless messages a day that most sum up to "i want to be the editor"
i'll make sure i stop using "hearing" and start making sure i type "re-sign" if you fun killing monsters will stop flooding these threads with criticism disguised as retort, and start just posting "i want to be the editor"
