Adrian Wojnarowski ? @WojYahooNBA
Several teams inquiring on Charlotte point guard D.J. Augustine, league sources say. Bobcats are listening.

One GM says, "One thing is for sure today: Portland is open for business right now."

New Jersey is calling everywhere on possible deals, but one player emerging on Nets radar, sources say: Portland's Jamal Crawford.

Several contenders chasing Ray Allen. Some offering a good young player, some offering 1st round pick. If Celts get both, they may move him.

Portland needs to make some serious moves. They have all that talent and they're only 20-23. Hell, our roster could be around that if we stayed healthy.

D12's manager, Kevin Samples, tells @OrlandoSentinel that Dwight has indeed waived his ETO.

Dwight officially staying. Dominoes will fall now.

Lakers, Mavs, Nets, and probably Rockets are freed up by this development, as all had hoped to get him either long-term or as a rental.

Why do the Nets do this?

Unless they're dumping contracts longer or worse than Wallace's, i dont get why they'd want him. This is a move a contenders makes, not a team trying to rebuild

I agree it's a dumb move to take Wallace's contract without knowing if Deron will be with you next year. They should hop on the tank and hope for better draft picks.

Simple, they are bringing in anyone and everyone they can to try and keep DWill. About to backfire in the off-season and they'll realize they dealt all those picks AND Derrick Favors for naught.

proposed 2012 draft pick the Nets would send to Blazers in Wallace deal would be protected only through the top 3 spots, sources tell Y!

The Nets are INSANE.

They're gonna end up sending the 4th or 5th pick in the draft to Portland AND losing Deron Williams

Nets GM needs to be fired if they give up a 1st round lottery pick for Wallace. They put all their eggs in the Howard basket and are now scrambling to make any type of deal. Sorry but Wallace isn't enough to keep Williams in NJ.

Desperate front office is desperate.

They already gave up Favors to get Deron and now they'll probably give up what would be a top-flight 4 like Robinson to get a guy who could opt out at the end of this season.
