From the Draft Express twitter feed-

quote:

Don't you want to play with Gerald Wallace? Deron: Not really. Billy King: Damn it. Wish I would have known that before I traded that pick!

The Nets gave up a ton to get D-Will from Utah, now they are giving up a ton to get Gerald Wallace???

They won't have a decent draft pick for the next few years...
good luck trying to win with a PG you're about to lose and Wallace who can't seem to stick with a team.

The Nets have officially taken the Worst Front Office Decision Makers from the Clippers.

Charlotte's pretty bad, too. MJ is a godawful exec / owner.

not sure what's bigger news, the trade or the fact Luke Walton is still in the NBA...

The Rockets are apparently shopping for 1st round draft picks.

I don't think they'll get many bites unless they're willing to eat some shitty contracts.

HAHAHAHA! Good pickup for the Lakers though. After what I saw last night it's pretty clear they need some PG help. Haha.

So we're sitting on our hands?

I was hoping one team would be desperate enough to trade a lot for Kaman

We're not screwed. Any trade at this point doesn't mean much one way or the other. I understand the excitement and interest when it comes to trades, but it just isn't a big deal for the Hornets right now.

ETA: Actually, it may mean more for this front office going forward to give the finger to teams offering dogshit for Kaman, Okafor or Ariza.

Man, if the Blazers got Patrick Patterson and/or Budinger, they are dominating the trade deadline..

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with letting Kaman and Landry just expire. We'll have plenty of cap room next season to make moves.

I agree. I'd rather sit tight than get essentially nothing in return. I predict we'll see interesting things in the offseason. As long as someone puts a fricking muzzle on Dunleavy if he turns out to be a part owner.
