Here, let's test it out. This is a terrific piece on our offseason possibilities. I will be able to tell how many click from here to go to it. Everyone should honestly read it.

LOL. Yeah, I have no clue why our site has been doing it lately. Just go to BSS and you will see the piece under features. If someone can post a working link, that would be helpful

How does Cousins factor in to that article (which btw was a great read)?
To give Cousins his 5yr/180 on top of the guys mentioned, would Benson have to be willing to go into the luxury tax?

He will have to, eventually. It won't be next year, no matter what they do. But if they want to be real contenders, he will have to make that decision by 2018-19, because they likely will have to be either that season or 2019-2020 for sure.

Yeah, that isn't even working for me. 42 says its something about not being logged in on the site, but I don't get all that server hosting stuff. Hope you guys get to read it. It is gonna be an interesting summer

Great article I hope that is the plan Dell has for this offseason I think most of those moves would make us a 50 win team next year

Really good article. Operating under the cap definitely seems like the better path for this offseason. I actually feel pretty comfortable in Dell's ability to find cheap, somewhat decent depth

Have the webmaster set up a 301 redirect from the version without the slash to the one with it. That will fix the problem and help with search engine traffic too.
Eta: I also enjoyed the article. Thanks for posting.

Yeah, and even if they stumble a bit with the lack of depth, if you have say AD/DC/Batum/Holiiday, you'll get to the front of the line for the MLE level FAs the following year as well as the vet ring chasers MM mentioned.

I don't want holiday for over $20M.
And to be honest I don't want him at all anymore. He's just not a guy that can be one of your primary players night in and night out. Yeah he shows you he can from time to time, but too often he just sucks.
If you told me I could sign Tim Hardaway jr and Shaun Livingston with the same money jrue will get, I'd rather them.

Or max out a 3rd true max player without all the crazy gymnastics.
It's Demps though one thing he's fricking awesome at doing is doubling down on 16 with a dealer 6 showing.

You can't do that though. That's why signing Jrue has always been a likelihood because his cap hold is just $16.9 million. You aren't getting comparable talent for just that. In another thread I threw out a potential S&T though. I could see a team like Atlanta having interest and they have a ton of wings. Something like a S&T of Holiday for Bazemore and Hardaway S&T. You still need a PG though, and there aren't many worthwhile targets for an uneven trade.
The bottom line though is they do need to go with what MM says is the plan. Try and pick up another B or better player this offseason while they have the cap space for it. It will be a lot easier to fill out the roster with exceptions the following year than to add a star player then.

I know it's just hypothetical, but why would Atlanta do that? They are giving up 2 starters (one young and ascending) for one that plays the same position as their prize player (Schroder). Holiday goes to SG full time?

Some of the reasoning could be outdated. I know about the time they pulled Millsap off the trade market they were looking to trade Hardaway for 2nds and Bazemore had been under performing his big payday. Schroeder also was looking just ok. Looking at the stats I'd say Bazemore is still severely under performing his contract, Schroeder could use a 2nd creator next to him at SG like Holiday, and Hardaway isn't anything special if he's about to get $10-$15. But not only does ATL have to agree to it, Holiday does as well. But a playoff team with 2 stars should be pretty appealing.
