You are wrong. He has played 36+ in 2 of the last 3 games and been the best guy on the court.

Dude this isn’t middle school . He was hollering and even got a tech . This is 100% on the players . Zion loves the competitive shite but was probably directly responsible for 60 lakers points . Bi reverted back to bad habits . Trey was a waste of space . Jose tried but did t give us the spark Bad matchup for Jonas and Larry . The list goes on. Just did t show up to compete , period.

Hes a defensive coach that allowed his team to let the lakers score 87 at half. One would ask do the players even care what Willie says? He got a tech for yelling at refs not calling a foul. His second this season- give me a break.

If we don't start seeing Hawkins back in the lineup soon, I'm driving down from Shreveport and I'm gonna slap the shite out of Willie Green.

Exactly right. No one was playing defense, but atleast Zion was scoring at will. No one else was contributing ANYTHING.

There’s a difference between trying to hide Zion on defense and still giving up back door cuts than Dyson and Herb giving up points because they are guarding the toughest assignment.

It’s awesome that Zion had 30 points… but it fricking sucks that he nullified it with shambolic defense in the paint

Yeah, and he was gassed tonight… hence the lack of effort on defense.

Anyone got the plus minuses for the game? I’d love to see how shitty we were. I’m assuming no one was a plus.

The team was on a 14-4 run and Zion was dominating and Willie took him out 5 and a half minutes into the third. He sat six and a half minutes. We were down 4 when he came out and 14 when he came back in I don’t understand how people don’t u deans this. Yes, his defense was bad in the first half. We gave up 87 points, everyone’s defense was bad. But we were dominating the third and we took the catalyst out 5 and a half minutes in.

Motivation and keeping the team engaged is probably the thing Willie has done best as coach of this team consistently.

He’s coaching grown men not 12 year olds.

This team wont be consistent with Willie. Its not just the players. Our stars are too young and not experienced enough as well mature to consistently win. They need a better coach. Willie is not a bad coach- but he’s just not the coach for THIS team.

Seemed really motivated on defense tonight.

Yep...kinda hard to beat the Lakers when DLo, Reaves and Machemura lead them in scoring with 30, 27 and 21.

How were they giving up back door cuts trying to hide Zion when he was on the bench?

Zion was gassed . If you want to criticize how long he sat fine but go back and watch the couple possessions prior to being subbed out . He was basically walking down the court .

He can’t play 24 straight minutes .

Zion was responsible for more wide open layups due to losing his man than anyone else tonight, by a wide margin.

IBI and Zion are not young by NBA standards, not to mention CJ

We can’t blame youth for this team’s pitfalls. It’s on coaching rotations for sure, but it’s also on Zion and BI for not being “THAT” guy.

I trust Herb more than I trust those two.
