That is not counting when he was lost as a secondary defender , lost in transition , or lost in pnr coverage . It was one of the single worst defensive e performances I’ve ever witnessed.

Whole team was bad .

He’s pretty much unplayable shooting at that clip. He doesn’t bring much else at the moment.

This is whats so disappointing. I get he was injured but a lot of this is mental on Trey. In the offseason there were hopes by fans that he would be a versatile defensive threat. Now at times, his defense is as bad as Zion’s. There was also talk about growth in his between game and playmaking as well- all that has disappeared along with his shot. Again I get this was his first major injury, but for him to have this many issues becoming a generally all around good player is highly concerning especially considering he has the IQ and talent to get it done. During all star break- he really needs to get his head right and focus on fundamentals. The hope is he finishes the season strong but it looks pretty bad right now.

Laker loss is not a big deal on the record
Definitely not

Before these 2 games, I'm sure no one would realistically predict we'd win both. A split was expected

Not too worried about the result but the 2 biggest process concerns for me were:

- Zion defense - Don't need to elaborate on that lol

- Willie rotation - Specific to no Hawkins. It was evident by the 2nd quarter that we were going to need to outscore them. Dyson loses a ton of value when the opponent sets their franchise record for points in a half. And thus, it was obvious imo that we were going to win by outscoring them, so Hawk shoulda got more run in place of Dyson.

For sure, but everyone wanted to ….. lol. Perimeter defense was bad, Pels defense goes rancid when a lead guard breaks them down.

Arguably Pels two best subs have both been in and out of the rotation (Jose and Hawk) and compete for minutes, maybe Dyson more in the front court since Griff and Trajen didn’t move at the deadline.
