True story: Went to Utah one time to go snowboarding, 4/5 people I asked had 0 clue what Jazz was other than "just some musical instrument right?"

Hamilton can defend. If he could just shoot a little better, he'd be a steal for the minimum. Definitely worth a look if they like his attitude.

If Smith can be traded, then Gordon can be traded. If I can change, then you can change.

Detroit did just sign Jodie Meeks for like $6.3 million per year for 3 years. They could still want someone better at SG but one would think they brought in Meeks to start.

Forgot about Meeks. But let's not forget who's in charge in Detroit:

I want to say that can't happen...But it really does make sense for all parties involved.

I'm not sure it does. Didn't Sacramento offer Gay an extension? I think they want him there long term. In that documentary on the Sac draft room, Malone was talking about how adding shooting (Stauskas) would really open things up for Gay and Cousins. I'm sure what they think makes sense is Josh Smith for Carl Landry, Derrick Williams and Jason Thompson.

Stuckey and Ed Davis for minimum contracts are absolute bargains.

Sacramento is a bit like the Pels. They want to be competitive now. Not sure how moving Gay for Smith helps them. Smith isn't a 3 and they have a log jam of PFs they don't really like in Thompson, Landry, Williams, and Evans. Getting Smith to go with Gay and Cousins frontcourt would likely not be very good, but it would be a hell of a lot of fun to watch with McLemore and Stauskas on the perimeter. Too bad they dumped IT.

If this happens it's likely involving Jason Terry's expiring, Reggie Evans's expiring, and their pick of Thompson/Landry.

I see no reason why Detroit would take on Gordon when they can get two expirings/buyouts and a useful 3rd big on a reasonable deal.

If that's his main job, SVG gonna lose some weight.
