Interview at adidas nations

Cliffs:
Has swagger/confidence back

Positive we will be a playoff team

Prefers to come off the bench because he will be able to have the keys.

Will work on rapport with tyreke. Will work on knock down shooting/off ball skills.

Says people not liking the name will make them more hungry.

If Rivers can be decent off ball and become better in PnRs, a bench core of Rivers, Evans, Morrow, Anderson has the makings of a very potent offense v second units

Not what I would expect from a lottery pick, but that's fine with me.

Why not? A lot of lottery picks are busts

Exactly. A good 6th man at the #10 spot isn't a bad deal, if that's what he becomes.

You clearly don't know much about lottery picks.

He will be lucky if he can be the 8th man with our new lineup.

Recent #10 picks

2003 Jarvis Hayes
2004 Luke Jackson
2005 Andrew Bynum
2006 Mouhamed Sene
2007 Spencer Hawes
2008 Brook Lopez
2009 Brandon Jennings
2010 Paul George
2011 Jimmer Fredette
2012 Austin Rivers

2 Quasi All Stars (being generous with Bynum)
3 Decent Starters
4 Who?'s
and Austin Rivers

I'd take a good 6th man because the alternative is Austin Who?

Austin Rivers isn't good enough to be the 6th man next year.

I was pretty impressed with his summer ball. If not for Anderson and Evans, he should be the no. 1 off the bench

I find it interesting that he had Tyreke penciled in as the starting SF, unlike what most people seem to think. He'd obviously have the inside info.

Very interesting, and he said it pretty matter of fact, he didn't seem to be guessing at all.

Didn't think they would bring Tyreke in to be a redundant 2 guard. I believe he'll spend most of his minutes at the 3.

whats generous about that? Dude made an All-NBA team before he got hurt. (He's a punk, but can't knock his talent).

secondly George is going to leap into superstar status.

Uhh, well he hasn't played a game in over a year. He's only played one full season out of eight in the league

But you can knock his ability to actually use that talent.

I'd agree, but whether he does or not is beside the point. The #10 spot is about 50/50 boom or bust, so anything that isn't a bust with Rivers is good.
