Not gonna lie I'm a little worried. I know they said they would let the market dictate his value but what team would give him an offer sheet? They must've been pretty far apart on contract talks. I hope he isn't expecting the same 4 year 30 million dollar deal Cory Joseph just got.

There have been no contract talks. Other team sets the market, Pels decide whether to match.

The silence means there is not heavy interest, which is a good thing. Every day that goes by makes him signing the QO more likely

I find it hard to believe no one is interested in him. But that works out for us

Right. We've offered the QO, he can sign it anytime he wants, he's obviously trying to find a better deal.

the market dictate his value

Jeremy Lin just signed for $2 mil/year
Shane Larking got $1.5 mil/ year
Wes Johnson got $1 mil/year
Leo Barbosa got $2.5mil/ year
Gary Neal got $2.1 mil/year
Aaron Brooks got a mininum contract.

Norris is sitting pretty with his $3 mil QO. For guys at his level (backup PG), he's doing pretty good. Given a few names like JJ Barea, WIll Bynum, Nate Robinson, Jameer Nelson and Ish Smith haven't signed, so that might dictate how he feels going forward. But still, Norris ain't getting that Cory Joseph money

He looks a good deal better in RPM

He's a solid backup PG

Nothing more nothing less

Not worried... if people aren't talking it's because things are probably being done

So he's going to turn down a $3.2m QO to sign for the minimum in LA?

Still adds to your point that Cole probably won't get more than his QO.

Not me.
I don't lose sleep over average backups. Actually I'm hoping they have other ideas.

I think Cole is important solely bc of Jrue being an injury concern. When Jrue and Reke are healthy there isn't much need for a backup PG. EG could even run the point for 10mpg

Cole is much better than a decent back up point guard. When he's in the zone, he can light it up like a top scoring, starting shooting guard. I wanted him back more tan anyone else we signed (besides AD of course).
