I'm supposed to go to the release party tonight but the venue sets up the stage in the parking lot and it's raining. I'm not sure if they're still playing :(. I will be SO PISSED if the show is cancelled.

Interesting music. I feel like I have to be in the mood for it, but overall I like it.

If there was not a post on this I was going to make one. Have been listening to their collection all day.

In other news, the new Pat Green album came out today as well. But since this isn't 2003, I'm guessing nobody cares about that one.

I actually haven't. I'm just busting Pat's balls . I've been great friends with the guys in his band for like 6 or 7 years.

Pat's music has been all downhill since Three Days, though I hardly blame him for trying to get out from under the Texas college bar crowd. Unfortunately, he was just too damn good at making sing along drinkin' songs.

Whats the story with these guys? I have never heard of them, and saw they have songs titled Shreveport and Bossier City.

Did you make it out?

I thought they were great! Ran into the TM (buddy of mine, works for Boland) and his girlfriend offered us backstage for Nutty Brown tomorrow night so I may actually go see them again.

I just downloaded this and I really like the band. Good stuff, especially for what I use music for the most - soundtrack for drinking, outdoor cooking, hunting and fishing.

Did you just download the new album or did you get some old stuff too?

The new album is great but "Diamonds & Gasoline" has some great drinking songs. And I love "Bossier City" off their first CD.

Can I get some love for my JB and the Moonshine Band thread?

I got their album yesterday too and I enjoy it as much as Turnpike Troubadours.

They're good, too. I just have an unnatural obsession with Evan Felker.
