Don't know why but never liked Bennie and the Jets!!

That's correct.
I started liking him less in the late '70's when he developed more of a disco-ish sound. Pretty much anything he did before that was money though. My favorite is probably Levon or maybe Mona Lisas & Mad Hatters.

Well, I'd assume you mean least favorite hit. As with lots of artists there's a lot of filler in his albums.
That being said, I always hated this one, and it was one of, if not THE, biggest hits of the 80's for Elton.

If you mean least favorite hit, mine is I'm Still Standing. It''s okay on the original record, but it sounds awful nowadays and he plays it at every concert.
My least favorite Elton song of all time is this gem from 1986's Leather Jackets. He was on a LOT of coke at the time and it's no more evident than right here.

Yep. Horrible. While I like a lot of 80's music, the 80's sound ruined the music of a lot of already established artists, like Elton John, Queen, and others.

Yep that's about when I started losing interest too.
Some of his more recent stuff isn't bad and seems more along the lines of the early '70's material.

I think most would put Don't Let The Sun towards the top of their favorite EJ songs. The others you listed, I don't disagree with.
