How many of today's bands are original? C'mon man.

Just listened to their full length album.

3 decent songs, the rest are meh at best, and that's being charitable.

THis band sucks. They’ll be playing casinos the rest of their career if they have one. It’s a total LZ ripoff. Zero originality. Terrible stage presence.

I went to the show at One Eyed Jacks and felt like I was the youngest person there and I’m 31.

Damn was coming here to post a thread similar to this after hearing their safari song

Their highway tune is great as well

Get a lot of Zeppelin vibes from them

Wow, I feel bad for you that you didn’t enjoy the One Eyed Jack show. We went with a very large group, about half of which was in their 20’s. Everyone in our group loved it, the crowd was totally in to the show, and the atmosphere was pretty electric. Soooo much more than a LZ ripoff. No one can duplicate LZ and these guys have a much broader influence than just that.

Here’s to hoping your prediction is off and hoping they make a good run of classic style rock.

Just listened to them on Spotify last night for the first time. On one hand you could convince 10/10 people that this was an unreleased LZ album. On the other hand you could convince 10/10 people that this was an unreleased LZ album which is absolutely amazing for a bunch of kids.

I really like it personally.

The singer had a rat tail and wore mandals in one of those videos, not having that.

Vocally he's somewhere between Getty Lee and Robert Plant....if you have to sound like someone, those are two good ones to sound like.

Musically, I'm not sure where to place them, there are the Zeppelin influences for sure, a little Cult ..... but one thing is for sure, once they break out, they are coming to your party, kick your arse and throw you out and take over.

I haven't heard anything like this coming out anywhere in a looooooooooong time

Good sound, but is the androgynous/trans thing going to work for an entire band? I mean only the drummer can pass as "fully" male, IMHO.

There's only one band in history in my opinion that was successful with a rhythm style guitarist only and no true lead and that's the Stones and its because Keith Richards is a fricking God.

I cannot classify Pete as a pure rhythm guitarist if only for one iconic timeless lead guitarist moment, one of my top 5 favorite moments in rocknroll:

I don't give out style points for rhythm guitarists - of course, like Zeppelin and Rush, Townshend had "lead" bass player to lean on, if necessary. As for soloing, Keith could solo way better than Townshend, plus he had all those iconic moments when people thought he was dead and he played shows a few hours later, so if Townshend is out because he was "flashy" - Keith is out because he's Keith Richards.
