Friend introduced them to me last week. Wow! Great original music by band members ages 18,18,21,and 21. Mix Zep, Black Crows, Aerosmith, a little Rush, and maybe a hint of Alice In Chains. Lead vocals off the charts good. Playing at One Eyed Jacks 10/12/17. Don't think they'll be playing in such a small venue a year from now!

Here's some links:

GVF - Highway Tune

Howard Stern played one of their songs a week or two on his show and was really hyping them up. I liked the little that I heard. Stern was saying they were just like Zeppelin although I didn't really get the comparison based on that one song.

There's a quiet but growing national buzz going on with these guys. If they keep it up they're going to explode and won't be in club venues for long. I bought a bunch of tickets for family and friends. $12 can't miss it!

That dude sounds just like Robert Plant. It's uncanny.

Three of the four guys are brothers, including two of which are twins and the lead singer. The drummer is a very close friend of theirs - typical "started in a garage" story.

Very similar to Kings of Leon.

Just had a chance to listen to Highway Song. It really is unbelievable how much he sounds like Plant.

Thank you sir. I'm 52 and my son and his buddy are at LSU. The buddy called me around a week ago having a fit about this band he stumbled upon. I've been yearning for a fresh true rock band instead of all this crap that's on the radio today. Sorry, giving away my classic rock age. Now there's over 20 of us going to the show in October.

Here's another song, opens like Rush:

GVF - Black Smoke Rising

Wow. Great find. These guys are good. And I have to believe Robert Plant had a show in Michigan about 20 years ago give or take. That kid sounds uncannily like him.

Saw some interviews of them, seem like cool kids. Good charisma in videos of live performances. Let's hope they keep their heads together and avoid all the traps of that business (hard core drugs, etc).
Will be there to watch live 10/12/17. ??
