Feel like we need a thread dedicated to Americana, alt-country, Texas Country, and Red Dirt (even though I refuse to call it Red Dirt).

Cody Jinks--Somewhere In The Middle

Cody Jinks--No Time

Been pretty big on this guy lately.

Ryan Bingham "Tell My Mother I Love Her So" at Gruene Hall (a kick butt venue for music)

LINK

That song sometimes makes me cry (my Mom died when I was little).

Lee Ann Womack--Send It On Down

This one is a chiller. I've got the Chris Knight version here.

Caught most of it, but I missed the first few lines.

Son Volt - Tear Stained Eye

Son Volt - Methamphetamine

Son Volt - Live Free

Son Volt - Ten Second News

I know Jeff Tweedy gets all the acclaim for Wilco and such, but Jay Farrar was the man from Uncle Tupelo IMO. Believe he is a very overlooked musician. Always been a big fan, as well as of Jeff and Wilco.
