By JJ Abrahams or another director/writer? He would have complete control over the script.

Not a redo, but a complete scrap and back to the drawing board.

That's really what I meant. Would be nice to get rid of all that awful CGI

I support erasing them from history. There should be a clean scrub of all records.

The only movie with bad CGI was episode 2. The rest still hold up.

I feel they almost did with the Clone Wars cartoon and pieces of Rebels. I don't think it could've done, but I would love a single prequel reboot. Just showing Anakin's fall and the rise of Vader alongside a young Kenobi.

What SFX don't look good in TPM?

The PT really isn't the abortion everyone says it is. It's not as good as the original Star Wars films, but they're well made movies. I would watch Episodes I, II, or III a thousand times before I would watch a disaster like Batman vs Superman, Green Lantern, or Suicide Squad.

I think Episode I and III in particular are highly watchable films. For some reason, Lucas forgot how to write actual dialogue after Episode I. Both II and III suffer from a horrible script, but II's emphasis on relationships between the characters (Anakin/Obi-Wan, Anakin/Padme) makes it really hard to look past the cringe worthy dialogue.

At least Episode III had some of the best action scenes in the PT.

After watching the prequels again this weekend I think I would. Episodes One and two are just awful. Not sure Abrahams would be my first pick though.
