I just watched the George C Scott version on AMC and noticed there are about 10 versions out there.

You watched the best version. I've seen damn near all of them. No one can top George C Scott as Scrooge.

What's the best thread about the best version of a Christmas Carol? Hint, it's one of the many other ones.

The 1970 musical version with Albert Finney.

The 1938 version staring Reginald Owen. We watch it on Christmas morning every year. The only copy we had was an old recorded VHS tape. My parents got an HDTV this year, and I bought them a blu ray player this Thanksgiving. I found a copy of the film on blu ray and gave it as a Christmas present this year.
