That was my same thought process but thought the car blowing up was as far as it would go. Definitely leaves a lot to wonder, although I think it was Russell as well

I don't know about it being Russell. He's all about psychological warfare, not shooting someone. I mean, if he was going to resort to those tactics, why not just shoot Dr. Brown right off the bat and save himself a whole lot of effort and grief? It seems out of character for him. Now burning/blowing up the cars? Sure, I could see that. But just straight out shooting someone? It doesn't really make sense.

This is what I'm thinking. I figured it's prob Dr. Browns assistant.
Other possible suspects:
The Ex-BlowJob giving teacher.
The History Teacher would be an unexpected turn of events as well.
I just think it's too easy to say Lee Russell. But I also kind of figured he was taping that conversation at the flagpole.

My guess is Blythe. I don't think it's one of the teachers because they wouldn't have a reason to light Russell's car on fire as well as Gamby's.

I'm leaning towards it being Blythe. He had the same creepy demeanor. Russell is more about the passive aggressive & psychological attacks, plus he cowered like a bitch when she attacked them on the train tracks.

I have a hard time believing it was Russell purely based on my belief that he would want Gamby to be around still when he becomes principal. That seems like the ultimate victory. To be able to lord over Gamby as his subordinate.

Dude, I bet that's right.
Said she went up and sat in her room all night after she found out. Maybe she wanted to help him out and get him the spot alone. Bring honor to the family or some racist arse shite.
It just left a weird very open ended feeling whenever they just left her out and she said she had gone in her room, closed the door, in sort of a questioning weird tone.
