Much better night for Jake. Hard to believe he's 17 He's a good kid. Hard not to like him and wish him well. So sincere.

I'm behind, so I haven't seen Jake perform yet, or even Christina (but her performance is next).
My favorites are Josh and Christina, but I love Jake because he is so sincere and shows his vulnerability, and when he hits the notes, he hits them well. I don't care if Sisaundra has a fantastic voice, she doesn't touch my heart in any way.
I'll have to watch the rest of the show to see if my opinion changes.

I haven't seen Sisaundra yet, but like you, I can't connect with her. I didn't like last week's performance. It was weak.
Just heard Delvin. He didn't do much for me.
You're going to love Grimmie.
Slow start for Kristen for me. Picked up but not my favorite performance for her, but I really love her tone and I sure wouldn't want her gone. She's really good.

Grimmie nailed it tonight. Most of the performances were good but if I had to pick a bottom three as an average joe just listening it would be
1. Bria Kelly and I blame Usher for giving her that song.
2. Sisaundra, Never do Steve Pery unless you can nail it and I didn't think she did at all. To me it seems that it's all about the big notes for her.
3. Jake - He wasn't bad and I don't want him to go, I just think of the rest of the performers I liked his the least.

Just watched Sissy. Nothing but big voice and I had to turn the TV down. I really didn't enjoy it.
I thought Bria was good, but Usher threw her under the bus.
I'd change Jake out of your list for Delvin.

Yes, I did love Grimmie, but I also loved Kristen. Haven't watched Sisaundra yet.
I think Jake put himself in danger. I'm hoping he will get a country career even if he doesn't make it through to the end of the show.

I definitely think Jake is in danger, sadly. He can't win, but the more experience he gets on stage, the better I think he'll get. I'd like him to hang around a few more weeks. He didn't look like a deer in headlights this week.
I think Kristen could get a career of some kind out of this.

I actually like everyone remaining.
But right now, Josh and Delvin are my favorites. Delvin has that big voice but uses it well, imo, and doesn't overdo it.
Kristen is pretty damned good,though, as is Grimmie.

Kat - way better than before, Landslide was a good choice for her. I think she sticks around another week at least.
Tess - Ugh, what a terrible song choice. Paramore, really? Not good at all, after being in the bottom 3 last week, I think she's gone this week.
Audra - Very nice, really stepped up her game. I didn't really care for her coming into the live shows but she has really improved the most I think. Should be safe another week.
Josh - I didn't care for this as much as his performance last week, but the guy has such a unique tone, it's hard to see him being in any danger.
Christina - Killed it. Best performance so far and I doubt it'll be topped. She's still my favorite to win it all. No chance she's in the bottom three.
Jake - I think his run is about to come to an end... at the very least he should be in the bottom 3. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets saved, though. I think my main problem with his performance was that other than one line at the end, the chorus was the same tone/energy as the verses. He needed to pick up the intensity at times and it fell flat.
Bria - That was terrible. Again, terrible song choice, and she basically did a karaoke version. If she had mixed it up some, then maybe. Usher was talking to everyone about the whole acoustic thing, and that would have fit Bria far better.
Delvin - Not bad, but fairly forgettable, I think. I hope he sticks around and we get to see more of him.

I didn't know Bria's song well, so I thought she sang well, but obviously I missed something since most folks thought it was bad. I thought her voice was good and she didn't get much love from the coaches and certainly not from her own coach. I didn't think it was a winning performance, but her range was good.
People seem to be hot and cold on Delvin, too. Some loved him. Some not so much. Interesting.

I really like Jake but sadly as others have said, he doesnt have what it takes to win this. Every monday night the news here always has a story on his watch parties in Laporte.
On another note, I did hear the Swonn Brothers on the radio yesterday morning. Not a bad song, need to hear it a few more times.

Thanks. Grimmie is no surprise. Jake is a lot higher than I expected. I'm thinking Delvin could be the third with the two girls.

If life was fair Jake's free riding would end. The thing with Bria is what I have been pointing to past few weeks and shame on Ursher and Adam for making her cry. I love blues and blues rock, but most people don't. In rehearsals it was made to look like she was really going to do something different last night and it started that way, but she reverted back to full tilt Bria the last 3rd, which everyone has heard for weeks and has become formulaic. She reminds me a decent bit of Susan Tedeschi with a much more powerful voice.
My wife's favorites are Delvin and Kristen, and I think Kristen is in the lead with her.
As far as enjoyable range, Grimmie does have an edge over the other contestants. Sisaundra was good, but I thought terrible song choice and I don't see a chance in hell of her winning due to her over the top performances. My favorite last night was Audra, and I genuinely am not a big country fan, that girl can sing.
My unordered top 5: Josh, Audra, Grimmie, Bria, & Kristen. Hmmm, that is 4 girls with very different vocal styles. Josh was good, but his song and performance were not nearly as memorable as last week's, didn't really see where that song offered him any upside potential.
If Audra and Kristen continue what they are doing, Bria is going to have a hard time making it to the top 4 IMO. Maybe Adam and Usher just want her to use all of her ability instead of staying in her comfort zone. I like Kat and all, but if I never hear Landslide again in my lifetime it would be fine with me.
