I enjoy it despite some of the stupidity. The acting is good to very good. The plot is good.

It's amazing that Law and Order can do a better job of making trials and the courtroom somewhat believable in an hour and these dingbats can't do it in 7 weeks.

I tried to at first because I thought it would circle back and make it all worth it.

It has done a fair job at touching on some of the issues we've had, but overall the show feels sloppy. Great acting though.

I like the show despite some of it's struggles.

It's a show about the system more than 1 case IMO.

that's become more obvious as the show progressed.

I still like it somewhat, but wish I wasn't fooled into thinking it was a whodunit from episode 1.

definitely

but its kinda failing at it though and getting really heavy handed with the message

like many have said, the production, style, music, acting, etc are all top notch

its just the writing is well...kinda awful at times

I get why people are so hung up on the inaccuracies of the courtroom scenes, to an extent, but too many are taking the criticisms way, way too far.

The show seems to be more about the impact a capital trial has on the lives of the people involved, hence the reason the actual trial scenes take up so little time, up to this point.

The original British show was titled "Criminal Justice". I deliberately tried to avoid as much as I could because I didn't want anything spoiled, but the British title should have warned me the show wasn't going to solely be about that night.

I have no problem with the time. The content of what is there is very poor.

This is probably the first show in history where everyone on the board has the exact same sentiment....

The only difference is after what episode did you feel the show went awry.... I started getting worried after episode 3.

I think it was clear after Episode 2 things weren't going to go the way we had hoped.

Agreed, and episode 3 solidified it.

Very true.

And it's extra strange that it happens on a show with incredible reviews.

I can't even bother reading about it on Twitter as everyone just loves it, and I just don't see it that way.

Who Done It Theory: Freddy ordered Duane to kill the girl before Nas was even in the picture. Nas and (Bodie) have their altercation in front of the house, and then they leave, but Duane waits around till it's safe for him to enter the house and murder her, then takes the murder weapon with him. For some reason Freddy needed that girl killed. Maybe the step father made a deal with him to kill her so he could inherit it all for himself.

For now...Mr. Cat may have caused him some issues sleeping in his bed from what it looks like

Duane Reade is named after a pharmacy which is a drug store. I don't he has anything to do with the murder other than him being a drug dealer which is what a pharmacy is except legalized. Definitely a red herring.

The CPA, Hearse Driver and Stepfather are the top 3 suspects if I had to guess.
