I laughed at the holding cell kiss with the lawyer. The dude is on trial for brutally murdering a woman and they would routinely lock him up alone with a female lawyer?
the show lost me with this. I was trying to like it after the first few were so well done. I wanted this to be a dream by Nas so bad, i cant believe they actually put that in the show.
his transformation in prison is ridiculous
using Omar in the same role he plays in every movie.
the court scenes
the story line of this show became weak as hell

I really like this show
I like it, but the first episode was so fantastic. I was in knots watching it.
It's become silly.
The kissing scene was absolutely embarrassing, and made more embarrassing by the fact that the show ends next week, so no need to have it to establish something later.

I watched Viceland this weekend at my gf's and apparently he's a reporter for them as well? Kind of surprised me.

The guy is a rapper in his real life so I don't find it all that farfetched.
I'm only still watching because there isn't shite else on and just because I want to know who killed the chick.

Only watching now just to see how bad it can get.

The other part I have a hard time understanding ois how this seemly nice, shy, awkward and timid kid from the first episode turns into a character from Oz in prison. And not going to touch on the high school violence surprises.
I assume the 2 incidents from high school are supposed to help us believe he can become this hardened convict, but they played up the nice guy angle too much, and I just don't believe the tough guy imprisoned Nas or the high school kid who sent 2 people to the hospital in 2 weeks.

This Freddy guy seems like a stand up guy minus the whole throat slashing and all.

If it was Naz that did it he would have woke up in the kitchen covered in blood.
They are probably going to leave it hanging and never telling us who did it ... getting Naz off for kissing the Paki atty but ruining her career in the process. That crap totally ruined the whole thing.

Just got to watch last week's episode.
Hmmmm thought some of it was really good. The hotshot pathologist was awesome, I love seeing experts like that being able to recreate events. The killing of the prison rapist intershot with Box's retirement was awesome. I'm not even going to address the kiss, because I imagine this place has already torn it to shreds for its absurdity.
That brings me to a larger question about the show, does anyone know why Shandra is on this show? When the show begins Stone is almost as much a focal point as Naz is. We learn everything about this guy, his disease, his ex-wife, his kid, what the law community thinks of him, what the cops think of him, etc. and now he turns into basically a backup QB for this new chick.
This is a mini-series, screen time is incredibly important, and I don't have a damn clue what this Shandra chick brings to the show. Why is she on it? She just wastes screen time. If she didn't exist this would have allowed more time for Stone to start investigating earlier, and the last couple episodes wouldn't feel so rushed.
That's by far my biggest complaint of the show. It's rushed, and there seems like there's so much pointless filler. Pick a lawyer character for the show and be done with it, why have two!?!?!

I loved when she went into the markup on the Adderol and Naz majoring in Business. I was 'ing at how dumb and pointless that was.

There's got to be blood somewhere other than the knife. Don't ya think Naz would have at least had a small drop of blood on his clothes if he indeed killed her? Wow this show is so bad that it's so good.

And no cross examination of the cops or anyone else to ask these questions.

Yeah, when they mentioned he was selling 10mg addys for $10 a lick, completely lost me. But maybe in NYC that's the going rate. 30's were going for $5 back around LSU when I was in college just 4 years ago. This show is ridiculous but I'll watch it till the end, no doubt.

I like it enough to finish the last episode.
A twist that would interesting/weird is if Jack and Chandra find out who killed her but Naz is so caught up in prison and sees his mom has turned on him that that he admits he killed her to stay in prison.
