An Infiniti G35 coupe with a vaydor body kit? $17,000-$24,000

Edit: looks expensive though, doesn't it?

Some of the comments on the joker in this movie get me to chuckle. The joker has been written 100 different ways. To say for certain that "this isn't true to the comics" is a bit naive.

Remember when the joker was worried about paying his taxes so it didn't look like he was humiliated to the outside world?

Or the same story adapted to BTAS

Agreed. I like everything I'm seeing from this film except what they're doing with the joker. I have no doubt that Leto will be great, but he just looks odd to me and him driving that car just makes me laugh for some reason.

This. I'm thinking that you people have seen one or two versions of the Joker and assume those are the only true versions of the character.

The only Joker the Hodors recognize is the Batman TAS Joker.

How about the more current comic Joker who had his face surgically removed?

There are too many Joker versions to count.

Fan reaction to the New 52 Joker was so negative that they changed it.

TAS Joker is definitive to me. It's a successful amalgamation of every Joker iteration ever, and Hamill's performance is impeccable.

I'm not saying the TAS version isn't the best. I'm just saying don't write off another iteration right off the bat.

the appearance isn't as important as the portrayal.

remind me again of when the Joker looked like a teenage juggalo that had just finished shopping at hot topic on the way to getting some angry at mommy and daddy tats?

I have zero issue with talented people giving their take on a character, and the Joker isn't a sacred cow - the character is ripe for interpretation. However, Leto's Joker looks like the product of what guys in a boardroom think is edgy or fresh.

We hadn't seen the Joker with a plastic surgery smile and as the killer of Batman's parents prior to Nicholson. We hadn't seen a facially scarred and facepainted Joker prior to Ledger.

What? No.

His skin was bleached white. He used face paint for regular skin color when trying to hide the white.

Cara Delevingne on Suicide Squad: 'I’ve never been so excited to see a film'
quote:

Supermodel Cara Delevingne (Paper Towns) co-stars in the film as the magical Enchantress and says that it will be worth the wait for fans. “It’s f–king insane,” she says excitedly. “I’m not the biggest fan of superhero films. There are so f–king many. I love the Batmans but some of them I’m not that keen on. I’ve never been so excited to see a film and I’m actually in it. I wish I could tell you about it at all. The movie is going to be the best thing in the world. The camaraderie on set is insane.”

And my own theory on the damaged tattoo is that it is meant purely to antagonize batman. If they go with the chemical origins for joker (as shown in this clip from Under the Red Hood), it would be a way for the joker to always let batman know that he was created out of batmans own actions. That he was a normal guy during a down time in his life just trying to get by (killing joke) until batman damaged him as a human being. The tattoo acting like the damaged stamp that goes on packages. Because one of the most common traits of the joker through his history, is his obsession with batman.
